And the Czech goalie is worth a look at, he's 31 and 2nd choice at Sevilla. He'd make a very good 2nd choice (or at least compete with Kelleher for 2nd choice) keeper. He would probably cost less than €5m.

Nor me. Bunch of moneygrubbing couldn't-give-a-f'ck posers. I reckon that's the person spec for football administrators actually.

I will love it if Scotland beat them, love it!

Scotland got stuck in early, high tempo and all that but now the Czech team are starting to come into it.

Big save from Marshall there after some tomfuckery at the back by the right back.

Think he's out of contract this year

Not sure what to expect from the Scotland v Czech game, I worry that the Czechs will play too cautiously in what should be their easiest game.

I doubt we will see much of Hlozek in this game as the managers almost always plays 4-5-1 with Patrik Schick (Leverkuesen) as the lone striker. Schick plays a vital role in this team as all Czech's best players are midfielders and Schick, who is not the most prolific goalscorer, creates lots of space for the midfielders to take advantage of. He is a big strong player and very intelligent, he pulls defenders out of position and midfielders like Darida, Soucek and Jankto follow up. I am not even sure that we will see Hlozek if the manager switches to 4-4-2 during the game as the manager has his favourites and Vydra has never let him down.

Soucek played for Slavia beside Alex Kral (The David Luiz look-a-like) and they were a dominant force. Soucek went to West Ham and Kral was snapped up by Spartak Moscow. It baffles me that we have been linked with a £40m bid for Bissouma when Kral is allegedly available for less than half of that. He is very strong in the tackle, very good in the air and covers a lot of ground. Apparently West Ham (who else) are being linked with Kral.

If you want a laugh, the centre back Celustka is very dodgy. He reckons he should have over 100 caps by now but I'm amazed he has even 1. He is very strong and not bad in the air but he is shocking at everything else. Centre back in the Czech's achilles heel. The won't struggle to defend set pieces because of Soucek and Kral but in open play they will have big problems unless they play Holes (ostensibly a midfielder but who has played CB to great effect before) beside the car-crash Celustka. Czech will really miss Kudela (the racist twat who is suspended for his idiocy in the Slavia v Rangers game.)

Other players worth watching; Barak (Verona) who almost certainly won't start (but imo should start ahead of Jankto) who is a very talented midfielder. Darida the captain who pulls all the strings, he 30 now so not on anyone's radar but I'm amazed he never got a move to a big club. If Zima plays (and despite only being 20 he should definitely be in ahead of Celustka) he is a very promising CB who is being watched by many clubs.

Czech should win but with home advantage the Scots won't be a push over.

This aged well

Never did TBH. Despite some brave talk before the competition started and one or two individual exceptions, their squad has always looked threadbare overall to me

It must suck for quality players, such as Lewandowski, whenever their national team are shite.

You'd think so, wouldn't you, but it doesn't seem to bother Gareth Bale.

I'll draw a tactful veil over George Best. 😉

With regards to Georgie, I got the impression it didn't seem to bother him too much.
