He miscontrols it. It's not like he plays it back to Lukaku.
Nah, it's the new bullshit offside rules. He played the ball (i.e. made a conscious decision to try and kick the ball), and that made lukaku being offside irrelevant.

Same as lovren giving kane a pen a few years ago.

I fucking hate the rule, but is what it is.

Mourinho compared Grealish to Figo yesterday.
It’s amazing England can keep such a player who’s compareable to Zidane, Gazza and Figo on the bench.
Sterling’s done alright, much better than Kane who seems to be playing sweeper/libero role.
Are England playing at home? No atmosphere. Maybe the players can do the knee at half time to get the fans going again...

Yeah, I get that it's a new shit rule, but isn't the as the Villa City one that the FA came out and said was no longer a goal in the future?

Slightly different that one.

Rodri was offside and went to challenge for the ball after mings controlled it, so offside. If Mings miscontrolled it and passed it to rodri i think it would have been fine. Lukaku showed no intention of challenging for the ball.

Mings has surprised me. I've not yet been persuaded he's genuine international class (to say the least) but he's actually done OK today.

Sound.

Why are they intent on fucking around with the rules?

Because it's the FA, and they would rather blame the rules than their own referees being shite. The rule never changed after that City game, they just full on blagged it like they did the tits

Lampard at half time feeling proud that the players his promoted or brought in are doing so well, not realising his sacking actually let them win things

Just turned on a few minutes before the goal.

Phillips did great there. Sterling tried his best to fluff the chance.

Probably wouldn’t be the worst thing if he picked up a knock going by the last hour of football

I'm so out of touch. Lad coming on for Kane and my wife was talking to me. Had no idea who he was.

Told ya.

It's Ingerlund. What do you expect ?

The only time Ingerlund was exciting to watch was when Gazza was playing....and maybe, just maybe, when they beat the Germans 5-1...and even then, that was a freak result, thanks to Big Emile and our lads saving their faces.

Now you English lads can go for a roast beef!

Perfect start for England really, better to get a result and grow into the tournament than stutter and come away with a draw.

You've all been duped...
Didn't you notice that it seemed like Croatia didn't even want to win?

It's because the winner of this group plays the second team in Group F.
Yeah, the group with France, Germany and Portugal...

The 2nd placed team will probably play against Sweden.

They also subbed Rebic and Kovacic early. Two of their best players.
