The French have been shite. Why does Blanc get such props? He's been setting this French side up awfully.
Diarra and M'vila in central mid today. Wtf is with that? Two ultra defensive mids. No creativity. It's jarring to watch the French, who were so renowned for their creativity a few years ago, playing so bereft of ideas.
They also need to chop the older guard like Malouda, Mexes etc. and start breeding their fresh talent. It always annoys me when managers will stick to safer options (despite them having achieved little at the international stage), rather than develop quality younger players. The Dutch failed massively there, and so seem to have the French.
