Ray thought it was a "Fabulous penalty".
Ha. He must say "my word" 30 odd times per game as well.

He does struggle "a little" commentating on Chelsea. Used to work for them, eh Ray? Never would've guessed!

he's fucking rubbish and neville is surprisingly good. why don't they give the job of commentating on games to neville because wilkinson is doing my head in.

We needed Chelsea to drop points yesterday, but it wasn't to be. We really need City to beat Arsenal and Chelsea to either beat or draw with Spurs. Still a long shot, but we might just have a chance. Oh and Torres, id have him in January! £10m lovely.
Is it just me who wanted Chelsea to win?
I want us to stay as close to top as possible.
In the next three weeks City have Arsenal and then us again. If they were to lose both of those and we can keep winning we would be 3 pts off them.
Why not aim for top and see if that gets us 4th rather than fight for 4th.

I know the cynics will cry rubbish but were a good side with some winnable matches coming up and the transfer window.
I want City to lose every game until they arent top.

Yeah, I want every team at the top to take points off each other. And hopefully it's always the teams lower in the league that do it.

It's obviously unlikely for us to to come near a title challenge, but until it's totally out of reach I'm always going to hope.

Quite, but we're not in any position to close a 12 point lead, We have a chance of fourth if the teams up and around us drop points, lets hope they do.

I think aiming for fourth is the wrong attitude, we should be aiming to finish as high in the league and as close to first place as possible.

what would you rather have?

5th and 5 points off the top
or
4th and 15 points off the top

chelsea winning was a bad result, we aren't catching city so in an ideal world city take as many points off our rivals for 4th as possible.

I'd honestly rather finish 5 points off the top, even if it meant we weren't in the Champions League. I'd prefer to be closer to winning the league.

which is annoying as we were level on points with them when we beat them.

I agree with Gerry. Id MUCH rather finish in 5th 5pts off the title.
Its about building momentum. Not about being in the champions league every year.

So when is Yaya going to be charged by the FA?

He should of picked up at least 4 yellows and 2 straight reds yesterday.
