Liverpool have been told by a tribunal they must pay Burnley up to £8m for striker Danny Ings.
The fee is made up of a £6.5m guaranteed payment, with an additional £1.5m through various add-ons.
Ings, 23, moved from Burnley to Liverpool last summer at the end of his contract, but a tribunal was needed as the clubs could not agree a

Thats not actually 'cheap' but in modern day footy its nothing.

Think he's a good player but realistically won't (when Klopp gets his way with signings in the summer) be a proper feature of our attacking lineup.

Before people start jumping on the 'he's a Klopp player because he works hard" bandwagon, he doesn't have the natural flair to be part of a team looking to transform into a title challenging FIRST team.

I'm not knocking him as a player by any means, decent touch, good finisher and everything, just not the player to add star quality to our team.

He doesn't need to be to represent good value. If anyone still needed proof that we have to have decent attacking as well as defensive back-up, last night provided it in spades. Ings will fill that role and do it well.

Let's hope we end up paying 8m as that means he's doing well. Whether he does good or not we will at least get our money back.
