Firmino Sturridge - Weak timid can be arsed displays.

Can - Tries but he's been hopeless.

Klavan - how can you miss the ball?

We got worse as the game went on....
 
Luckily we have an opportunity in this window to make some very needed signings

We need a CB, CM and pacy attacking player
 
To be fair to studge we are not getting the ball quick enough to him around the box where he is most dangerous.
 
Are we supposed to be playing so slowly? Wijnaldum has been atrocious so far. All he wants to do is play 5 yard square balls , I haven't seen him get above a trot so far. Also the front 3 have been so passive it's untrue, second to every ball and very weak when challenged from behind. The whole team needs to be a lot more aggresive or we'll get fuck all out of this game.
 
Karius - our best player. At least his confidence wasn't shaken.

Defense - poor at best. Klavan having a mare, Lovren meh, Clyne and Milner are ok I guess.

Lucas - ok really. protecting the back, solid passing ... Not doing much more.
Gini - continuing poor form.
Can - He should be on the bench. Just not adding much.

Lallana - poor
Firmino - poor.
Studge - poorest out of the front, despite being our best finisher.

The above is expected unfortunately ... no Mane = very little speed, and ability to scare the defense ... Coutinho, sadly, needs to play because though not the fastest, he'll scare their defense and create spaces for everyone else.

Maybe but he needs to stay closer to the box for other players to find him and not keep coming back into midfield where he inevitably loses possesion. He's done very little with or without the ball so far.
 
Looking forward to the four second half goals though

Unless it isn't us scoring them

Still we have the deadly Firmino who can always be relied on

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHIT

Klavan - what happened man?!
Lucas - floating around like a passenger and offering absolutely fuck all
Can - taking too long on the ball, giving Saints time to re group and get organised

We need a change and pronto. One of Lucas or Can needs to come off and one of Woodburn/ Origi/ Coutinho coming on. Bring Lallana back as the link between midfield and attack and bring Wiji a bit deeper to run the show as Hendo usually does.

This is yet another game that the Hendo haters (who I won't name) need to pay attention to. He runs our team.
 
We could really do with someone who can create something out of nothing as we are creating f&ck all and have zero width.
 
If nothing else it would be nice to see us find a way to fight through this and gain a bit of confidence as no doubt we'll come up against similar tactics at the weekend.
