More good news if true.............................
Greek side Panathinaikos are set to swoop for Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Since joining the Reds on a free transfer in 2007, Voronin has struggled to break into the Liverpool first-team and is said to becoming increasingly unhappy with life at Anfield.
The Ukrainian international has played in just five games for Liverpool this season and has failed to find the back of the net in any of those matches.
It is thought that the Greek side are now willing to pay in the region of 1.5 million euros for Voronin’s services, who played his last game for Liverpool against Lyon in the Champions League.
Voronin’s current contract is due to expire at the end of the 2010/2011 campaign but Panathinaikos are hopefully of securing a deal for the striker in January.
I would be more than happy if Voronin left for nothing so to get a fee for him is very good news indeed! Any word about how much we could expect for Dossena?
Doss was an absolute shambles. We cant expect rafa to get it right every time but bar Keane this has to be his worst signing. Still i think we might get 4m for him which aint bad.
Voronin- Dont understand why he's still here especially since rafa fancies Ngog over him. should put the asking price at 5 quid just to get rid.
