It's some sick nightmare, going from one set of rubbish owners replacing them others. Hicks and Gillett were just robbing shister chancers. FSG are just stupid and haven't a clue. Repeatedly employing people who are shit at their jobs, moving season ticket holders from seats they have held for generations to accommodate their corporate buddy's, Mighty Red, Being Liverpool, Turkish reality get a contract at Liverpool, rubbish negotiators and still no ground.

I don't know what to think about them anymore . I was more than prepared to be patient and give them time to learn the sport but it still feels like they don't fully 'get it' and are still struggling to understand how best to run the club . They tried sitting back and letting "experts" like Comolli run things . That didn't work so they sacked everyone and hired their own experts yet it still feels like we're lacking direction and strong leadership .
And obviously they are different entities but when i see how they are managing their baseball team at the moment it doesn't fill me with confidence .
I obviously hope to be wrong , time will tell .
Funnily enough, dear old Shaggy, after having an altercation with me, or rather choosing to have an altercation at me, went on a weird googlefest, logging anyone on any other forum with a variant of my name on here, all of them not me, and reported them all as me on Est1892 (cue an explosion of amazed smilies), adding to his claim that I was a senile OAP with an obsession about, er, him (and encouraging his emoticon-mad chums to seek me out to abuse me - which some of the nuttier ones did). I'm pleased to rise above such things and repeat that this shouldn't have happened, and of course it really shouldn't, but karma's a bitch. Called Jen.
I know you can say Peter Robinson belongs to a different era, and of course in some ways he does, but there was nothing necessarily dated about the way he treated people, and maintained standards, and encouraged a general sense of mutual respect and dignity, and that's what pains me most now, because it hasn't even been replaced, there's just an empty space.

I'm confused, how can a fictional character make accusations , on the basis that they well...fictional !!
Who should i trust , some parody Internet persona or Liverpool FC's Director of Communications ? Stupid question , he's a FSG hire, so has to be the internet lad all the way !

The emails he sent have been kept, which come from his Liverpool email address, & discuss the meeting, then him not tweeting anymore at his request, & elude to something more sinister too.
If a major paper look into this & confirm the emails he's fucked.

But he didn't have Twitter to deal with. I know someone who worked at the club for years who said that the few at the top were polite enough but ran the place like barons, delighted to have unpaid serfs running round the place for them.
Not that I'm dissing PR or the Moores, but people are people.

It was claimed Chang had promised to ban the unnamed fan for life, that crazy supporters would put dogs*** through his letter box and make his life 'a living hell', that the supporter might have to move home and that newspapers would 'ruin' his dad's online business.
These threats were allegedly made by Chang at a meeting with the mystery fan - who has the alter ego Duncan Jenkins - in Manchester following Liverpool displeasure at his fake Twitter account.

Chang says the club believed the account was being fed by an Anfield mole, who provided information about the signings of Fabio Borini and Nuri Sahin.
The blog also accused a paranoid Chang of bombarding 'Duncan Jenkins' with phone calls and telling him that the club investigation into the tweets had diverted money from charitable projects.
The blog states: 'Everything I've written is 100 per cent true. There is not a single shred of embellishment in this account.'
But Chang, who confirms he did meet the self-styled Slam Dunc in Manchester, said: 'I will not be responding to total nonsense.
'The contents of my tweets that are included in the blog bear no relation whatsoever to the false accusations made by a fictional character.
'There was never any investigation by Liverpool over the tweets.'
Meanwhile, Liverpool's owners, the Fenway Sports Group, are keeping to their data-based Moneyball philosophies by appointing Ian Graham, who has a PhD in biological physics from Cardiff University, as their director of research to make the best use of all the statistics that now emerge from matches and training.

Liverpool's communications director, Jen Chang, last night defended his position after he was accused by the user of a Twitter account of threatening him and his family and accusing him of costing the club £300,000 by tweeting news of striker Fabio Borini's signing.
Chang, who took up his position in June, pointed out that he has increased access to the club to bloggers and media supporter groups, with a dedicated session with the midfielder Lucas Leiva for them yesterday. But the user behind @duncanjenkinsfc account, whose real name is known by The Independent, claims Chang was infuriated when he ran transfer items, telling him when they eventually met that he would have "dog shit coming through your letterbox", would have to take his Facebook page down and "might even have to move house" because "football fans are crazy".
Chang did not comment on the claims, which he considers to be nonsense, nor on the issue of whether he met the anonymous writer. The club said they were aware of the allegations but had no statement to make.
The blogger claims Chang, a former Sports Illustrated writer contacted him on his private Twitter account in August after he tweeted through @duncanjenkinsfc that Nuri Sahin was certain to sign for Liverpool. Astonished that the executive had managed to establish his real identity, he claims Chang then told him that the cost of tracking him down had come from his budget – money that would otherwise have been spent on charitable projects for the disabled in Toxteth.
When a number of email exchanges led to a meeting in Manchester's central Deansgate, Chang said that Roma had asked for complete discretion over the Borini deal and that their distress about the tweet – which the blogger claims was based on a Liverpool Echo article – led them to up the fee. Chang told the blogger that the club's managing director Ian Ayre was aware of him. "He claimed Ian Ayre was well aware of Jenkins and that he hated him for making his life and transfer negotiations more difficult," the blogger alleges.
It was when Chang asked the blogger to issue a tweet denying any in-club contacts who had knowledge of Liverpool's transfer market that threats were attached, he claimed. "He told me that if I didn't tweet as requested… that he would hand over all of my info [from the dossier compiled by the people hired to find me] to… journalists and ask them to do their worst, to run smear stories on me in the tabloid press. He said 'they will make your life hell, and will turn all Liverpool supporters against you. The papers will say you cost the club you claim to love serious money, that you wilfully damaged the club'.
"'You know how crazy football fans are', he said, 'You'll have dog shit coming through your letterbox, you'll have to take your Facebook page down, you might even have to move house.' He then said the papers would also 'ruin your Dad's online business'."
Exactly. How the fuck did we manage to get someone like this into such a position? Fucking ridiculous.
How credible is Shaggy Alonso though? Judging by what I read here certainly less than 100%. His account seems believable, it feels true, but he needs to provide some kind of evidence (emails, call records) for me to be entirely convinced. Gkmacca's story gives the impression of an emotional drama queen, someone who would embellish a story for dramatic effect.
