Going down to the Sean Cox match on Friday night.

Any locals have tips on a decent place to park near the Aviva?

As far away from Dublin as possible would be my advice

Actually, I have to be there on Sunday, so will be looking for pub recommendations later

I always come from the North across the Eastlink so can only tell ya from that perspective but once through the toll and round the corner there is parking on both sides of the road and some fields/industrial ground used for pay parking, this leaves u about 15/20 mins walk to pitch. We generally drive past all this, turn right at main junction and into Irishtown and park down some of side streets there, it halves the walk to the ground and if your swift at getting out of the ground on the final whistle it'll save you a load of time as the queue at toll can be long...

What he said ^^^

I usually come in via the northside too, and I always manage to find street parking parking in the Irishtown area.

If your lads are not up to much walking you could park at a Dart (local city train service) station and take the train to Landsdown Road which is a short walk to the Aviva stadium;
Clontarf Road has paid parking beside the station and is a ten minute train trip to the Aviva

How was it @Bradley - kids enjoy themselves? Was there a good turnout?
26k, pretty impressive turn out.

Kids loved it, my one has converted from Spurs all though the power of Vlad Smicer and Aldo.

Oh Robbie Keane has still got it. Best player on the pitch.

And thanks for the parking recommendations. Parked in Irishtown.

Spurs supporting kid? How the hell did you allow that to happen Bradders?

It was that last world cup that sealed the deal. All the media fucking on about Harry Kane and Debbie Alli. He has a mate who supports Spurs too.

I tried, but knew I could play the long game and either Spurs would continue to be shite or I'd convert him.
Nice one. Big Sammi had a good game too and TWO goals for Vladi ! He's aging well. He was so pissed off the first was flagged. Wrongly.

I enjoyed the game. Loved the way Ronnie Whelan got handed a jacket when he got subbed off, and he flung it right back in 'temper'. Great to see Aldo and Houghton as well.
