As long as you wear shoes, you'll be fine. I usually wear smart trainers but I'm not sure where the other lads drink and some places do ask that you wear shoes.

It's weird in town, it's usually the places that cost a fortune and are a bit upmarket that dont mind you wearing trainers. Baby Cream, Blue and all the others around the docks are fine.

On the subject of Baby Cream. £23 for three vodka/red bulls I was paying last week for my bird and her mate. I go there quite a bit and it is only £3 for a bottle of lager so I was fuming at paying that.

I won't be SR mate. Jeans and boots probably for me.Can't handle those poncey places any more.
 
Anywhere I normally go doesnt have a specific dress code. I usually wear smart trainers (not Reebok Classics!) or shoes & jeans.

As RSLC says, most nice places to drink dont have a specific dress code, only scally places tend to have dress codes, to keep out the really bad scals that dont own a pair of shoes other than Rockports!
 
I always find it weird - I mean, all of the shit places round here have dress code on the weekend (another excuse not to go there), but generally I find that if a club has a dress code (which is, superficially, supposed to ensure a better quality of client) then in actual fact, you're faaaaaaaaaaar more likely to have some townie cunt come up and try and start shit over nothing.

Trainers and scruff = no hassle + better music

(IMO)

PS - I can't dance to shit music, I hope we're not going anywhere shite just because there's plenty of easy flange there (Joe, Pete, I'm looking at you here)
