Douglas Costa a Spurs Target @ 30 mill

Ladbrokes have slashed the odds of him arriving there in the summer:

Tottenham – Evens
Chelsea – 4/1
Arsenal – 5/1
Man United – 7/1
Barcelona – 8/1
Man City – 10/1
Liverpool – 12/1
Dortmund – 16/1
Monaco – 20/1

I'd ditch Ribery and keep Costa. Every time I've seen Ribery recently (admittedly not that much) he's looked average.

costa has year left on his contract and has been stalling on bayens contract offer. He will probably end up at Chelsea.

He's got 3 years left on his contract.
No way he's moving for 30 mill when they bought him for 21 mill 2 years ago.
The odds set by Ladbrokes means nothing.

I doubt Spurs can match his wage demands aswell.

[article]Costa said to Bild: “When the season is over, we will sit down and analyse everything.

“We’ve got a few million-strong offers from China and also from big clubs from Europe.

“I don’t completely feel happy here, but we will soon find a solution. Whether I stay it depends on a few factors.

“Main factor is minutes played. Being a core player is a crucial difference in my career.

“England is one of the biggest leagues in the world – fantastic.”

In an interview with TZ, Hoeness claimed Costa's actions were: 'A desperate attempt to get a higher salary.

The Bayern present added: 'That doesn't work with us. He can try 10 more times. He is certainly not a hardship case.'

Despite Costa's claims though, manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that the former Shakhtar Donetsk star is happy at the club.

'I didn't read the interview, but I speak to him regularly, he is satisfied to be here,' Ancelotti said.

'When it comes to the happiness or the sadness of the player, there are agents who maybe want to put pressure on the club, who want to be more involved.'

Douglas Costa's agent 'liked' a link on twitter linking us to him ...
He must be really desperate for a new contract, or more playing time.

I don't see it as a problem if he's primarily after the feeling of being a key player and the playing time that comes with it.

We can certainly offer him that.

If it's money he's after, well I suppose we can offer him that too!
