Hi,
Random question but I assume that you cannot park on double yellow lines on a sunday, is this right? I was recently issues a ticket when the half the back wheel of my car was on a double yellow line. Furthermore, the ticket states that it was issued because I was parked during restricted hours - however, during the time in question I was not parked during restricted hours. The Council have come back and said that because I was partly on a double yellow line, which are restricted at all times, I must pay.
I'm thinking of challenging this on the basis that:
- the ticket was issued incorrectly as if they are right then I was parking in a restricted area and not during restricted time
Any views/advice would be appreciated.
