Wow cheers man for the invite... :🙂

I'm NOWHERE near like that nutcase that is Glock. I don't like him either.

has been. just take the money rafa and put it towards a right back not a 34 yr old who'd struggle with the pace and power of the premiership
[/quote]

It is a hilariously shit article but Del Piero has actually been very good when I've seen him this season. Guys that win matches on their own in the CL don't deserve to be called has beens.

Not as stupidly laughable as the other swap link I posted earlier about Dossena.

Juventus will include De Ceglie in bid for Liverpool's Dossena
07.06.09 | tribalfootball.com

Juventus hope to land Liverpool fullback Andrea Dossena in a cash-plus-player swap.

Dossena has already gone public with his hopes of joining Juve this summer after failing to settle on Merseyside.

Juve chiefs Alessio Secco and Jean-Claude Blanc are preparing a bid of £4 million cash plus left-back Paolo de Ceglie in exchange for Dossena.

Liverpool Could Replace Dossena With Juventus' De Ceglie - Agent
The Bianconeri wide man could try his luck in the Premier League should Liverpool follow up on their interest...
1 Jun 2009 17:24:01

Carlo Pallavicino, the agent of Juventus starlet Paolo De Ceglie, has revealed that Liverpool may bring in the 22-year-old to replace the unsettled Andrea Dossena.

Coincidentally, Juventus are reportedly interested in signing the Liverpool left-back, so a swap deal could be in the works.

"De Ceglie is of real interest of Liverpool," he explained to Radio Gol on Monday. "You will see that if they cede Dossena, they will replace him with De Ceglie.

De Ceglie, who can also play in midfield, is considered a rising talent in Europe and has been included in the Italy Under-21 side that will play in the European championships in Sweden in the summer.

So is this De Ceglie any good?

Doesn't sound too promising this. Last summer we were told how great Dossena was (and indeed - how can he not be great if he is an Italian international defender) and now this lad.
Why would Juventus get rid of such a promising talent? Is he any better than Aurelio and Insua?
Let's just take the money and say goodbye to Dossena.

I was kidding, Lech.

De Ceglie? Yes please.

Big, powerful and very pacey. Loads of potential. This season has been hampered with injuries, but thats the story for every other Juve player this term aswell.
My Juve friends are raving about him, and say we should bite their hands off if they offer us him.

Can play left midfield aswell.

What does your Juve mates say about losing 4m and this guy and gaining Dossena in return? They can't be that happy if they are raving about De Cegile, surely?

Dossena is better suited for The Serie A, but they found it strange that they were selling him. Molinaro has been playing a head of the De Ceglie, probably cause of experience and of course injuries.

Could Rafa4pm please change the title of this thread to: "Dossena: Rafa will drive me to Juventus"

Here's fucking hoping

He was absolutely hopeless against a load of part-timers and young reserves that N.Ireland fielded yesterday.

On a brighter note Foggia was class.

oh yea makes complete sense, we'll give u 4 million and a left back for doseena. like hell he'll be any better than doseena. whoever scouted doseena should be sacked, i suppose parry bought him as well eh rafa?

ffs just sell him for cash, any player we'll get in the deal will just eat up on wages and be shit

Just because some idiots attribute everything wrong in Liverpool to Parry, doesn't mean Rafa pointed the finger at Parry regarding Dossena. Don't let that interrupt your tedious ongoing imaginary conversation with him.

He has more than one head? Put him up front and play Route One. 😉

well from where i'm sitting everything wrong with liverpool seems to be anyone but rafa's responsibility.

8 fuckin million - you hide it however u want but rafa fucked up last summer and now we're paying for it, it seems that we can't even give him away without px for some other turd.

Can we keep Dossena instead of selling him for some beans and another italian left-back?
I think Rafa is too quick to get rid. Having already paid for Dossena's mistakes this season in lost points perhaps the 'acclimatized' Doss will step up.

Nope.

Sell to generate funds, especially since we can get a decent amount for him from the Italian clubs.

Insua and Aurelio should be sufficient.

I always feel that its rather percarious to have two 1st-team south-american fullbacks.. If their international travels take one of them to bolivia and the other to venezuala we'll have two tired players to choose from.

It seems that Dossena is set to leave... hopefully Aurelio retires from international football

Unfortunately for Aurelio he's not deemed good enough for the Brazilian squad, so we dont have to worry about him being called up.

hee you never know, playing for liverpool works wonders for one's international career.

Aurelio has long been desperate for a call up so I doubt he'll be ruling himself out any time soon.

Which is quite possible ain't it? If Aurelio and Insua do well they can both be called to be their nation's reserve fullbacks.
