Djibril Eyes Liverpool return. . . .

Are we going to regurgitate every single debate that's been done a million times over the last five years?

Keane
Crouch
Cisse
The Keane transfer

That's just from the last couple days.

So, zonal marking then? Should Hodgson implement a different approach?

I liked his love of the club, didnt like his wife beating but I'd still have him over N'gog.
You clearly didn't see that programme on Channel 4 with his wife in. She deserved a diggin.

Ye she was an utter cretin.

she probably deserved it.

He didn't score enough goals for me tbh, scoring a total of 12 league goals just doesn't sound right.
Great pace, but with his refusal to acutally learn what an offside is he's not fully utilizing it. He'd cost a shitload, and would want some heafty wages..

No thanks..

I liked Cisse, but he's just a bit better version of Babel really. All the attributes, but lacking the brain to really shine in this country.

Let's go for someone else.

Errr, what? Being mooted at 3m, and would probably command wages of around 50k (so about 10 more than Degen)

Another to add to the list of ex-players scm wants back...

The objection being what?

Its perfectly natural for certain former players to be attractive to supporters, mainly because theyre a known quantity (know the area so no problems settling, know the club set up and most of the players so less bedding in time, etc).

In all seriousness, who wouldnt have taken a fit Cisse last year rather than NGog as our backup striker

If he'd be happy to sit on the bench and we could pick him up relatively cheaply, I'd be quite happy to see Cisse back.

Did you see him in the South Africa match? Fucking hell, he's 28 and he STILL hasn't got the hang of the offside rule! I like Djibs a lot as a person, but he really isn't very good at football.

Unfortunately, being better than N'gog doesn't qualify as good enough.

But does qualify as both an improvement, and realistic.

In that case let's put Big Bird upfront.

Now signing Joel Garner I would definitely approve of.

Has anyone mentioned bella-end yet?

And is djibs essentially saying, someone please get me out of this eurobomb'd shitty nightmare! You, birmingham at the back there, I like the midlands, its got a black country there

He's one of a load of strikers that I'd rather were still here than not. Look at last season, a crock and a kid up front - that was it... nothing else. Pretty ridiculous. Come back please... any one of Cisse, Bellamy, Crouch, even Milan fucking Baros. Even Sean Dunfuckingdee

*slits throat*

Cisse and Agger could have a tattoo competition. Hell, they might end up so covered in ink they would be *camoflaged*, and the linesman wouldn't see him in that offside position he loves to take up.

Re: Lord Djibril anyone?
Headless chicken, but at least knew how to score goals twat the ball as hard as he could, often in the direction of the goal and usually directly at the opposing keeper. I'd take him back cheap
No thanks.

Far better than anything we've had since then, sadly. I'd take him as a squadie, providing we had some decent strikers first choice...
