I could myself singing the "rafa" part of the song then bit my lip. I was swept up in the moment because of the first bit of enjoyable football for months. I felt dirty

if you felt dirty after performing the liturgy then you have been judged unworthy.

Rafa has admitted taht good displays from Aquilani, Babel and Maxi gives him a headache ahead of the next games.

How the fuck can good displays from some players picked ahead of a bunch of out of form underperformers give you a selection headache?

After Rafa has taken a couple of paracetamols, his headache will get better and he will know he has to pick his blue-eyed boys Kuyt and Lucas ahead of the players who gave us such a refreshing treat on Monday! :🙂

You can all fuck off to be honest, I don't give a flying fuck.
Rafa has ground this team into the fucking dirt, we are a shadow of our former selves and when I look at United and Arsenal turning good teams over I realise exactly how far we have fallen behind.

Support the team as much as we can, support the club even more, and give credit where it is due, fantastic, but to give credit to the manager on his more attacking team selection last night and it worked after everyone has known for weeks , months , years even, that is what it takes, particularly against dross teams at home, when it is all but too late is naive in the extreme, and yes a bit thick.

Applause!
I heard it was lowest attendence in 5 years.
The off the fields issues are just the result of whats going on ON the pitch.
We wouldnt talk about the Yanks if we were winning our games and playing good football.

Kuyt is one of our 'big' players, he's earned that tag. Regarding Lucas, Aquilani hasn't been fit for most of the season and when he's got games he's been shit for whatever reason. Lucas and Kuyt have both played together in some memorable wins, so I wouldn't agree with the original post at all.

As to the oot'ers/armchair fans v Regular match-goers, the match goers have to have a more vested interest in the team both financially and emotionally. They also get to see the game from a better perspective. That doesn't mean that their views and opinions should carry more weight than anybody else though.

On a final note, Rafa Benitez is a world class manager. A relatively poor season (which hasn't ended yet) doesn't change that.

I suppose we should all keep saying that, to keep Juve or Real Madrid interested in signing him!

🙂

Exactly. How did this world class manager organise things so that we started the season with just one proven striker, while all our rivals for that fantastic fourth spot in the League have at least three?

Oh, is that what he meant by that blasphemous profanity? Easy answer, the other rivals have owners that invest in their teams.

He spent 40m on a right-back and a crocked midfielder

The previous season he spunked 28m on a player he bombed out and a tub of lard left-back

He's been left with dross like Lucas, Insua and Eggnog playing lots of football because he has made too many mistakes in the transfer market

This is why some fans are idiots.

How is this season anything but a total disaster?
