I rate lucas but for me his best position is where he played when we bought him. CM with license to go forward. We've trained the goal getting out of him though it seems

I have often said that he's probably quite decent as a more attacking player, but that I just don't believe in him dominating the midfield as a DM.

I think he is ok for our team - defensive midfielders are never a sexy commodity - in fact they are pretty boring and he is doing his job quite well at the moment, even today - I thought he was our best player, but you cannot blame him when all around him everyone else is playing shite.

Wouldn't expect him to be anything other than pissed off in fairness.

Agree, Adam will be dropped for a few games(serve his suspension too obv).

I'm hoping Maxi, Spearing, Gerrard, Bellamy and Kuyt will play more. Time to freshen things up a little.
