Crystal Palace v Liverpool - Match Thread

I would like our club to remember that 'clean sheets' are a good thing to aspire to! 🙂

Feels like a lucky win - but I'll take it ... what do we want from Chelsea-City?

Should have gone two up with the corner where mane then lovren missed the ball or bobby’s chance just after and avoided as much stress. But great result to pressure city further.

Huge win considering...
A) we were without Salah
B) we were largely shite
C) Palace were excellent
D) Zaha missed a great chance from 6 yards in stoppage time.

Come on Chelsea

Lucky win ? - I am used to that feeling now that it's the actual norm for me with regards to our wins. Apart from the City game - I don't think most of our games this season have been like today's win.

Chelsea win all day long.

City are our big threat and the only team capable of a monster run of wins if we falter. Bury them while they have key players out.

From the replay zaha looked a yard offside, I reckon VAR would have ruled it out.

I thought that too but you never know. Ultimately they had enough chances to get something.

We need to extend our lead over City to be out of reach before we inevitably have a dip

We definitely didn't do enough to deserve the 3 points but the strength of character to win game like that, having been under pressure and conceding late on, is very impressive.

Yes we must crush other teams spirits

Nah unfortunately there are much worse teams in the league. They'll change their manager soon enough and climb up the table a bit.

I'll be very happy if, apart from us, they get maximum points in their next eight matches...

He has looked poor as late... He struggle to pick up players and seems to lack the knowledge for where he should be when defending an attack..
This is not the same player we saw early last season

Well that much is clear he is not the same but then he played CB last year. He’s been mostly played at RB this year. He came on and did well against Zaha, so just thought it was a weird game to make that comment.
