So you're up the park having a kick about with your mates.

Next thing you know a bloke comes up to you and asks if you'd be interested in signing up on a 'pay as you play' deal with....wait for it....The Scum.

If I am who I am what would be the point? Even my mates wouldn't let me play with them.
 
So effectively you would never ever play for them considering you are just a normal person? So you would never see any money either. Then what would be the point? If there is no realistic money to tempt me, the only reason to do it would be the chance for some clever sabotage, key squad members suffering from food poisoning, "accidents" in training etc.
 
I don't see the relevance of the pay as you play part?

The question of whether I would quit my job to take another one with no guaranteed money, and realistically no chance of getting any, have to move to Manchester and train with lots of really good players, most of whom I have no desire to be mates with and wouldn't be able to afford to hang out with even if I wanted to is one with a very easy answer. Of course not.

If the question was, would they give me a contract and pay me thousands of pounds a week not to play then yes I probably would. I'd feel that just by taking their money under false pretences I would be damaging them enough
 
I'd sign and gladly accept the wages.

Do fuck all in training - not get picked to play - but still tell all the birds I play for The Scum and get shagged senseless.
 
There isn't a single person here who wouldn't jump at even a chance of playing in the Premiership.
 
Without meaning to sound all 'SUPERFAN', I couldn't put a United shirt on and jog out at Old Trafford regardless.

I'd rather be in the Kop.

I'm shit at football and unfit, I'd be rather embarrassed to be playing football in the premier league, so no i wouldn't. However i'd certainly jump at the chance to be paid 5k a week and play football all day.
