Ha...

Diego Costa: Chelsea striker charged with violent conduct by FA Chelsea forward Diego Costa has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association following the Capital One Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Tuesday. The Spain striker is accused of stamping on Liverpool defender Emre Can in the 12th minute of the 1-0 victory. He faces a three-match ban and could miss Saturday's league match with Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. The player has until 18:00 GMT on Thursday to respond to the charge.

Excellent. Thanks to Mourinho's stupidity he now has no choice but to deny the charge, there will be a hearing, and only good things can come of it.

If they appeal, would he be able to play at the weekend against City? The hearing would move to next week wouldnt it?

Should have been charged with both stamps and banned for longer.

And if I hear another Chelsea fan whine about the pen. It's dead simple, he shouldn't have been on the pitch you myopic cunts. I fear there will be a mass windmilling soon.

Count to ten....

Surely he should have been an extra games ban due to it being a frivolous appeal?

Not necessarily. That doesn't apply to every unsuccessful appeal, only to those which the FA judge not to have ever had any possible prospect of success in the first place. The irony is that in reality that applies to every single one of them under the FA's rigged kangaroo court system.

They've mostly turned their attentions to whinging about Frank and the City game now so I think you're good.

For a reason that hasn't been explained, the league cup rules are different from the disciplinary rules in the league.

I hope that this will put Costa under the public light, and from now on there will be zero tolerance towards him.
He will surely hit again as he won't change.
