Damn, looks like Djuricic's signing for Benfica in the summer. And for only 6m euros too. Looks like this was agreed in the middle of February too.
Konstantin Rausch will make a free transfer from Hannover 96 to VfB Stuttgart this summer. The 23 year old signed a three-year deal which takes effect on July 1st 2013.
VfB Sport Manager Fredi Bobic commented on the signing: “It’s fantastic that Konstantin has opted for VfB above all of the other options he had available to him. We made it very clear just what we plan with him and with the team. He is a young, German player who has established himself in the Bundesliga. He is a committed player, who can be used in a variety of positions and has a strong mentality.”
“I had very positive talks with Fredio Bobic and Bruno Labbadia. They convinced me to make the move and gave me a really good feeling that signing for VfB was the right step for me. I am really looking forward to this challenge now,” said Konstantin Rausch on his future with VfB.
EXCITING Melbourne Victory midfielder Marco Rojas has signed a four-year deal with German club VfB Stuttgart.
The Bundesliga side announced tonight it had completed the free-transfer signing of the 21-year-old New Zealand international.
Rojas, 21, was scouted by dozens of European clubs with Werder Bremen and Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg expressing the most interest.
But Stuttgart was apparently the only club that tabled an offer, with Rojas and his father departing for Germany last Thursday to complete the medical and sign off on the deal.
He scored 15 goals and provided nine assists in his second season with the Victory, having joined from Wellington Phoenix.
"Marco has just been voted player of the year in Australia but that's not the only reason we noticed him,'' Stuttgart's head of sports Fredi Bobic told the club's website.
"He is a player who is well used to the attacking wide positions and provides speed.
"It will be interesting to see how quickly he can get used to the pace in Germany.''
Rojas said in a statement he was delighted with the move and looked forward to the challenge of stepping up to European football.
Stuttgart sit 12th in this season's Bundesliga and are safe from relegation.
Blues have completed the signing of young midfielder Olly Lee on a free transfer from Barnet.
The 21-year-old has signed a one-year contract, with a further one-year option, having spent the last six weeks at the club on an emergency loan.
During that period, the former West Ham United trainee has captained Blues U21s in the U21 Professional Development League Two North and made an appearance on the first-team bench for the final 2012/13 npower Championship fixture of the season.
Lee had previously enjoyed loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge and Gillingham before signing for Barnet last summer.
Derby County have quickly moved to make their first summer signing by agreeing to sign Burnley goalkeeper Lee Grant.
The 30-year-old, who began his career with Derby, has agreed to join the Rams from their npower Championship rivals effective from 1st July 2013, after turning down the offer of a new contract with the Clarets in order to join Nigel Clough's side.
The former England Under-21 international was last week named as Burnley's Player of the Season by the Turf Moor faithful and Clough is delighted to have landed the experienced shot-stopper.
Clough said: “Lee knows the Club, he has experience, he has a presence about him and he knows the division very well.
“He is an accomplished and consistent goalkeeper at Championship level and we are delighted he has chosen to join us.
“We wanted that extra experience and presence on the pitch, as well as in the dressing room, and he is exactly what we were looking for.
“Once we knew he was available, it was too good an opportunity to miss.”

Phillip Cocu has been unveiled as PSV´s new head coach during a press conference at the Philips Stadion on Monday morning after signing a four-year contract. Ernest Faber and Chris van der Weerden will be his assistants. Cocu hopes to add Ronald Spelbos to his backroom staff as a football analyst.
Phillip Cocu first of all thanked Dick Advocaat for giving him an opportunity to play a prominent role in the first-team affairs. “We’ve worked together well as a team and I’ve gained valuable experience.” Cocu then hailed Mark van Bommel. “It must have been a tough decision for him to retire as a professional footballer, also because the fans urged him to keep playing for another year. PSV will sorely miss such a very experienced player but in the end they will benefit from a coach with a long-term vision of what an academy can mean to first-team football.”
Cocu then looked back at his development as a football coach. “I’m gradually finding my feet as a coach and there are some parallels with my playing career. I would now like to take the next step on my career path. Last season, I took over for a while from Fred Rutten, with the same coaching staff. It was a hugely rewarding experience. Then I consciously took a step backwards to work as coach of the A1-youth team. I trained the squad on a daily basis and I feel I am now ready for the next challenge, with the senior first-team side. I cannot wait to start working with my assistants Ernest Faber and Chris van der Weerden. We will build a new PSV, with new faces in the squad, but it will take time. PSV will always have the ambition to win trophies, but we must remain realistic. We will hopefully be able to add Ronald Spelbos to the coaching staff. He is a perfect fit for PSV. We would also like to appoint a physical trainer and focus on developing individual training programmes for the players in order to bring back success to PSV.”
Phillip Cocu signed a four-year contract with PSV. “Once I take up a new job, I want to be successful. That’s why I’m looking forward to the new challenge. The club needs to invest more to help youngsters smooth the path to first-team football. We must attempt to create a balance in future, focusing on players of our academy. The promising youngsters should be offered bright prospects of making it into the first team, if they are prepared to work hard and show dedication. We will work together with a number of former players, including André Ooijer, Mark van Bommel and Ruud van Nistelrooy, to help bring the youth through. I am convinced the youth academy will be able to perform much better.” Ernest Faber and Chris van der Weerden also signed their contracts after the press conference.
James Beattie was appointed Accrington Stanley’s first-team manager with immediate effect yesterday.
The League Two club has been without a manager since Leam Richardson left to join former manager Paul Cook at Chesterfield at the end of last month.
Beattie, who played for Blackburn, Southampton, Everton, Stoke and England before joining Accrington in November, will be officially unveiled at a press conference this morning.
FOLLOWING his successful loan spell this season, Norwich City can confirm that Javier Garrido will join the Club permanently on July 1 for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old Spaniard will sign from Lazio on a two-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.
“I’m delighted to have secured the services of Javi on a permanent basis,” said City manager Chris Hughton.
“He has played 34 games for us this season and the fact that we’ve signed him is a testament to the contribution he has made to the team since joining us last summer.”
The full-back has been a regular for the Canaries since arriving at Carrow Road last August on a season-long agreement from the Italian side.
Garrido himself added: “I’m so happy to have signed full-time for Norwich City.
“I am very comfortable with everything here - with the players, the technical staff and of course the fans. I am just very happy that we have managed to remain in the Premier League where we belong.
“Now I want to do everything I can to help Norwich continue to be successful in the Premier League. For me personally I am delighted to have secured my future playing in English football with Norwich City.”
The Irun-born defender had previous experience of English football before making the move, having played 62 times for Manchester City between 2007 and 2010.
Blues can confirm the signing of Scotland international Andrew Shinnie on a pre-contract agreement.
The 23-year-old has passed a medical and will move to St. Andrew’s on a three-year deal when his current contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle expires in the summer.
Shinnie has spent the last two seasons in the Scottish Highlands, playing an influential role in helping Terry Butcher’s side to their current position of third in the SPL.
A creative midfielder, he has bagged an impressive 15 goals from 41 appearances so far this season and also made his international debut during a friendly against Luxembourg in November.
Born in Aberdeen, Shinnie began his career with Rangers and made his first-team debut in 2007.
He spent most of the 2008/09 season and the second-half of the 2009/10 campaign on loan at Dundee before making a permanent switch to Inverness in the summer of 2011.
Shinnie departs the Caledonian Stadium having made a total of 62 appearances, scoring 23 goals.
Goalkeeper Darren Randolph has agreed to join Blues on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old has spent the last three seasons at Motherwell and will formally join Blues on 1 July after his current contract with the SPL outfit expires.
The Republic of Ireland international was a firm favourite at Fir Park Stadium having chalked up the club's clean sheet record, previously held by John Ruddy, on the way to helping Well reach the 2011 Scottish Cup final.
Randolph began his senior career at Charlton Athletic where he went on to enjoy loan spells with Welling United, Accrington Stanley, Gillingham, Bury and Hereford before heading north of the border on a permanent basis in July 2010.
The Bray-born gloveman is now looking forward to the next chapter of his career at St. Andrew's.
A delighted Randolph told bcfc.com: "It feels brilliant to be a Birmingham City player. I'm just happy to get it all done and I'm looking forward to getting started.
"I wanted to come here because of the size of the club and it would be great to be a part of a club like this. The manager wants to achieve things at this club and after speaking to him I was sold. I've proven myself in the SPL and now it's time that I came down here and did the same in the Championship."
Never really expect him to get into management.

Sascha Riether has joined Fulham on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee from Cologne, the Bundesliga side have announced.
The 30-year-old has been on loan at the Whites this season, becoming a key part of manager Martin Jol’s side.
The right back has made 34 league appearances and represented Germany twice during his career.
Riether thanked his former employers - currently in the second tier of German football - before looking to push on with his new side next season.
“Thanks to the FC,” he told the club’s official website. “The club and the city have grown on me during my time in the Cologne.
“I am pleased after a first season in England and am focused on my other tasks in Fulham. I wish FC Cologne only the best and the imminent promotion to the Bundesliga.”
Burnley Football Club is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Tom Heaton, 27, will sign for the club on July 1st, 2013.
Heaton, who is available on a free transfer from Bristol City, has agreed a two-year deal with a further 12-month option.
The former England U21 international becomes manager Sean Dyche’s first summer signing and will link up with the Clarets on their return to pre-season training.
Reflecting on his early career, Heaton said: “I was at United for a long time, but it was the right thing to do to leave and go and play.
“I’ve done that over the last few years and hopefully built some foundations that Burnley can benefit from.
“I certainly want to concentrate on getting better and I want to play in the Premier League and I want to do that with Burnley.
“I think there is huge potential at the place.
“If you look at the squad there are some very good players here and you only need to look how they finished the season, so I am very excited about the future and looking forward to getting started and getting pre-season underway.”
Dyche, who tried to sign Heaton at Watford last summer before the highly-rated ex-England U21 international joined City, expressed his delight at finally capturing the 27-year-old.
He said: “Tom is someone we knew all about at Watford and we have monitored his progress since then.
“We have had him watched several times in the past year, he’s just had a really good season in very tough circumstances at Bristol and he recently played very well here at Turf Moor, as every Burnley fan will know.
“He is a good technician, he has great pedigree, having coming out of Manchester United and is a good age and willing to learn.”
Dyche, who has reacted swiftly to losing his two first-team goalkeepers this summer, added: “We felt it was appropriate to act quickly following the release of Brian (Jensen) and the departure of Lee (Grant).
“We have been aligning things for the ‘what-ifs’, as we are in all cases, and Tom is a great signing and one we believe will do very well for us.”

Paul Dickov was unveiled as Doncaster Rovers new manager this afternoon and the former Oldham Athletic boss told Rovers Player that the challenge that lies ahead for him is an exciting one.
Dickov was named as the man to take the club forward after Brian Flynn decided to move back into a senior management role at the club.
Dickov had been the bookies favourite for the job even before the interview process had begun and was unveiled to the media this afternoon.
Speaking to Rovers Player Paul admitted that that he believes the club can be successful in the Championship next season.
“I’m really excited, proud and honoured to be the manager of Doncaster Rovers Football Club,” he said.

“There’s the basis of a really good, strong and hardworking club here and hopefully with a couple of good additions we can have a successful season.
“I’ve been working really hard on what I want to do, how I see things panning out but also trying to build for the future and making this a sustainable Championship club by bringing young players through.
“One thing that struck me was the relationship between the fans and the players; this is a family club and I want to improve on that too.
“First and foremost I want to create a team that is going to go out there every single game and give everything they have got and have the belief that we can win the game.'
“If there is any apprehension about who we are playing against or where we are going to finish in the league then I will eradicate that. I’m a positive guy and I believe that with the momentum we gave got, after getting back into the championship, we can be successful and I want to build on that.
“I’m a genuine hard working person; the players will find that out very quickly. I’m very honest with them and the one thing that I will ask them to do, not just in game but every single day, is to work as hard as they can and be the best they can – if we have those two things then we are half way there to being successful.
“One of the first things I will be doing is sitting down with the players that are under contract next year and let them know that they will get their chance next year.”
Colchester United are delighted to announce the signature of Craig Eastmond on a permanent basis.
Craig made a huge impression whilst on loan from Arsenal in the early weeks of Joe Dunne's reign as manager, helping the U's to six wins and a draw in his two months in the blue and white stripes.
A broken foot cut short his time at the Weston Homes Community Stadium but, with the 22-year-old out of contract with the Gunners this summer, Joe moved quickly to secure him as his first signing of the summer on a two year contract.
Craig's move is subject to paperwork clearance and he will officially become a U's player on July 1st when his Arsenal deal expires.
The midfielder will join up with the rest of the squad in pre-season, as the U's prepare for another year in League One.
U's midfielder Craig Eastmond believes the tight-knit feel around the club was a big part in convincing him to sign for the club on a permanent basis.
Craig will become an official U's player this summer when his contract at Arsenal expires.
And he believes that the close family-like feel was a key factor in getting him to join the Weston Homes Community Stadium side.
He told the official website: "I enjoyed my time here on loan and now I just want to carry on where I left off. This is a place that feels good to me and one that has made me feel part of a family.
You want to feel happy as a footballer with your friends, team-mates and manager, and that’s the case here. I like the manager’s style of play and my main attribute is getting on the ball, so it is good for me.
"I am of an age where I want to play week in, week out and I think I can do that here in the next step of my career."
Craig’s move will be completed subject to paperwork clearance from the relevant authorities.

Sporting Lisbon has confirmed that Leonardo Jardim will take over as manager next season, replacing Jesualdo Ferreira, who was let go by the club on Sunday.
Sporting endured a disappointing season, finishing in seventh place and 36 points back of champions FC Porto.
Jardim enjoyed spells in charge of Portuguese clubs Beira Mar and Braga before leaving for Greece in 2012 to manage Olympiakos.
Ferreira joined Sporting in an administrative position prior to the start of this season, but he took over as manager for Franky Vercauteren in January after a poor run of results.
President Bruno de Carvalho paid respect to out-going boss Ferreira, and said both parties ended the relationship on good terms.
"Everybody at Sporting thanks him for his dedication," he told the club's official website.
"This whole process was treated with complete and mutual respect."
Ferreira admitted the decision was difficult to take.
"Training this club was a blessing from God," he added.
"The decision has nothing to do with finances and I am sad. This is one of the hardest moments of my career, but it is also a moment of honesty."
