Carlos Tevez has completed his move from Manchester City to Juventus, the Italian club confirm on Twitter

Carlos Tevez is officially a Juventus player after completing his transfer from Manchester City and will wear the Number 10 jersey.

The Bianconeri confirmed the financial details of the deal, which is €9m payable in two financial years plus a further €6m in performance-related bonuses in the next three seasons.

He put pen to paper on a contract holding him to Juve until June 30 2016.

“Juventus Football Club has today completed the capture of Carlos Alberto Tévez from Manchester City,” read a statement.

“The Argentine forward, who will wear the number 10 shirt, has agreed to sign a contract which will keep him with the club until 30 June 2016.

“Welcoming Tévez to the Bianconeri’s city centre headquarters were Andrea Agnelli, Giuseppe Marotta and Aldo Mazzia. The striker then moved to conduct the first part of his medical at Turin’s Fornaca di Sessant and Isokinetic medical centres.

“After undergoing the second half of his medical tomorrow, Thursday 27 June, the 29-year-old will subsequently be presented to the media at Juventus Stadium from 11.30am (CET) onwards.”

Real Valladolid have announced that they have completed a deal to sign Lens full-back Zakarya Bergdich.

The French-born Moroccan international has joined Juan Ignazio Martinez’ side for the new season on a three-year contract.

Whilst a fee for the 24-year-old is undisclosed, Valladolid have explained in confirming the player’s signing that part of the agreement entitles Lens to a share in profits made if Bergdich is subsequently sold on.

Oscar Garcia has been appointed to the newly created role of head coach of Brighton & Hove Albion.

In an illustrious playing career Garcia played for Barcelona and Valencia amongst others, before stepping into coaching as youth coach at the Nou Camp.

His first senior role was as manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv, and in his first season at the club guided the Israeli side to their first league title win in a decade.

Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the transfer of Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 22-year-old moves to Stamford Bridge from the Bundesliga club, whom he joined back in 2011.

It was announced on 13 June that Chelsea FC and Bayer Leverkusen had reached an agreement for Schurrle's transfer. He has signed a five-year contract and will wear the No.14 shirt.

'I am so happy now I have signed and it is an honour for me to play for this club, with this team and for these great fans,' Schurrle said. 'I am really looking forward to it.'

'Those great fans' - he played for Leverkusen though, he probably really thinks they're great in comparison.

Cardiff buys FC Copenhagen striker Andreas Cornelius, 20.

Fee in the region of £8M, making him the most expensive player ever sold directly from the Danish Superliga.

Will look much forward to follow his progress, could become a top striker in a few years.

Is Cardiff a good team? How's their style of play, does any of the resident Welsh posters care to enlighten me?

Seeing the no. of games they won by 1 goal margin and the amount that they drew (something like 6 draws in the final 8 games), they could certainly do with some firepower. While the source of goals were spreaded out, it must be a slight concern that none of their players managed double digit in terms of league goals.

They must have quite a lot of faith in him to provide the goods for them. Villa got Helenius at a fraction of this quoted price.

Cornelius is a different breed mate, potential top class. If he should succeed with Cardiff he'll be worth twice as much in a Year.

Helenius to Villa was a bit of surprise to me but who knows maybe he'll do well. His price seems about right mind.

I see. The pressure will be slightly different though. The purpose behind the signings were probably different too (one as a squad player in the hope of coming good, the other to come in directly and expected to perform right from the start). Bodes well for Denmark though. About time Denmark find a new goalscoring hero!

Dave Kitson - Oxford Utd (free transfer)

dave-kitson-sheffield-united-620.ashx

Oxford United are pleased to announce the signing of Dave Kitson with effect from July 1st.

Dave is a vastly experienced striker who has scored goals wherever he has been since making his breakthrough with Cambridge United.

The six-foot three centre-forward scored 40 goals in 97 league starts at Cambridge before a £150,000 move to Reading in 2003. Sixty goals in 121 starts helped the Royals win promotion to the Premier League and further enhanced his reputation.

Stoke City paid £5.5million for his services in 2008 and he has also had successful loan periods back at Reading and at Middlesbrough. After a further successful spell at Portsmouth, Dave joined Sheffield United, scoring 12 times in 32 starts last season including one at the Kassam Stadium in the Blades 3-0 FA Cup win over the U's.

Now 33, Dave underwent a vigorous medical on Thursday and joins the U's on a two-year contract. He is delighted to have signed at the Kassam Stadium:

"I had a number of clubs interested but the ambition and the set-up here at Oxford is excellent and there is a buzz about the club at the moment. It is a good club with a good manager and a very good squad. Oxford is the only League Two club that I considered because at this stage in my career I am looking to be part of a successful promotion campaign. I am looking forward to joining up with them for pre-season, working hard, and playing my part in what I am sure will be a very exciting few years for the club."

Manager Chris Wilder was equally pleased to add to his firepower:

"Dave has a proven stature and has scored goals at the top level. He is very experienced and he makes goals for other people too. He is extremely fit, with the same hunger to do well and will be a positive influence in the dressing room, especially with the younger players.

"As soon as we knew he was available he was my number one target for the summer. He had options in higher divisions but I think it speaks volumes for Oxford United and the way we do things here that he wanted to come and play for us.

"We have strengthened what we considered a key area for the season ahead."

Technical director Marcel Brands confirms that PSV have reached an agreement with Chelsea and RKC Waalwijk, respectively, over the transfers of defender Jeffrey Bruma, 21, and forward Florian Jozefzoon, 22. The two new signings will undergo a medical this week.

PSV have made their first two signings of the summer, bringing in Jeffrey Bruma and Florian Jozefzoon. Bruma, who joins PSV from Chelsea after being sent out on loan to Leicester City in 2011 and then to HSV for the past two seasons, has been offered to sign a four-year contract. The defender, who hails from Rotterdam, made his full Netherlands debut in August 2010. The contract includes a buy-back clause. If the deal is finalised, Bruma will report for duty with PSV on the first day of training.

Florian Jozefzoon will sign a three-year contract with PSV with an option of a further year. The winger, who recently made appearances for the Netherlands Under-21 team at the Euro 2013 in Israel, joins PSV from RKC Waalwijk. Jozefzoon, who was born in French Guiana, will report for duty on Monday, 8 July, along with the other internationals.

Technical director Marcel Brands is delighted to have secured the services of both defender Jeffrey Bruma and winger Florian Jozefzoon. “They are young, bright prospects who have already gained experience. Jeffrey is 21 and Florian is 22. They both fit the footballing philosophy of PSV. We would like to sign the best Dutch young stars, along with our best academy players. Five of our players have been selected for the Netherlands Under-21 squad”, said Brands.

Danny Simpson - QPR (free transfer)

VERSATILE defender Danny Simpson is set to join QPR on a three-year deal.

The 26 year-old will officially become a QPR player on July 1st following the conclusion of his existing contract with Newcastle United.

Simpson – who started his career at Manchester United – becomes Harry Redknapp’s first signing of the summer and the Eccles-born defender is excited about the next chapter of his career at Loftus Road.

“I want to play week in week out. That was the main thing for me. Harry wants me playing and he wants me involved,” he told www.qpr.co.uk.

“He’s a top manager, and as soon as I spoke to him I knew this was the right move for me.

“I’ve always admired him. He is a great man in the game and I have a lot of respect for him.

“In training and games I will give 110 per-cent. I know Harry has spoken to other coaches about me and I am sure one thing they would have said is that I am a good pro and that’s what he wants in his squad.”

He added: “From what I have heard from Harry and the staff I have spoken to, along with some of the players here who I know well, they are very determined to put things behind them and start afresh and get back into the Premier League where the club belongs.

“I want to play my part in that and do everything I can for the club and the fans. I really think we can go straight back up.”

A delighted Redknapp told www.qpr.co.uk: “He’s the type we want at the club.

“He’s a good professional, a good character and a good player who knows his job in the side.

“He’ll be a really fine acquisition for us. It’s a fantastic piece of business for the club on a free transfer.”

Redknapp added: “Danny’s an experienced player and made a real name for himself at Newcastle. He played regularly in the side that just missed out on a place in the top four in 2011/12.

“I spoke to a few of the coaching staff at Newcastle – friends of mine from over the years who I know and trust – and they spoke very highly of him.”

Simpson, who made 138 appearances for the Geordies, is due to meet up with his new R’s team-mates for the first time when the squad return for pre-season training next Monday.

I read an article that said Blanc was their 8th choice ! good luck to him if that's true .

Once Mr Rodgers said no the rest (Mourinho, Fergie etc) followed suit.

Dont know why, thats a gift of a job, guaranteed title and domestic cups every year.

Monaco will probably have a say about that though Oncy.

On a sidenote, no one knew about Cornelius a year ago, unless you were a FC Copenhagen coach, and now he's the most expensive player to be sold directly from Denmark and will now earn £50,000 a week with Cardiff.

Someone's living the dream.

Dimitri Payet - Marseille (€8.7 million plus bonuses of around €1 million)

67625.jpg

Marseille and Lille have struck a deal "in principle" to take Dimitri Payet to the Stade Velodrome in a switch the France international hopes will keep him in the frame to play at the 2014 World Cup.

"I can announce to you that I'll be at Marseille next season. Thank you LOSC for two superb years," Payet tweeted on Thursday after the two clubs reached agreement on a move that has been in the pipeline since Lille missed out on European football on the final day of last season. Completion of the deal is still dependent on the player passing a medical.

The former Saint-Etienne attacker, who contributed 12 goals and as many assists as Lille finished sixth, will bring much needed funds - an estimated €8.7 million plus bonuses of around €1 million - to the northern club, who are seeking to offload a number of their highest earners in order to compensate for the lack of additional revenue a Champions League or Europa League campaign usually provides.

In return, Payet hopes to benefit from playing in continental competition for last season's Ligue 1 runners-up and one of France's most popular clubs to keep himself at the forefront of the thinking of national team boss Didier Deschamps as the former OM coach draws up his plans for next summer's global tournament in Brazil.

"Its history speaks for itself. OM has a past, a history full of titles and emotions. The club is a monument of French sport," Payet told Marseille's official website. "The French team and the prospect of the 2014 World Cup were deciding factors in my thinking, but not only that. I wanted to stay in France. Throughout my career, I've favoured the sporting aspect of things.

"It's good to think about 2014, but OM also means experiencing the Champions League, playing in a quality squad and achieving lofty objectives in the league. It's a good challenge, and exciting."

Jordi Amat - Swansea (£2.5 million)

amat-258-883658_478x359.jpg

Swansea City have completed the £2.5m signing of central defender Jordi Amat from Espanyol, subject to a medical and international clearance.

Amat arrived at the Liberty Stadium late on Thursday night and finalised a four-year deal with the club.

Born in Canet de Mar, Catalonia, Amat has been with Espanyol since the age of seven. He rose through the ranks and featured for the B team in the third division before making his first-team debut at the age of 17.

He managed 26 La Liga appearances in his first full season as Espanyol finished eighth, before featuring in the following campaign which saw the club end up just three points off the top half.

A loan switch to Rayo Vallecano last season paid off for both player and club – Amat made 27 appearances, which included a superb 50-yard goal against Valladolid, as Michu’s former club claimed eighth place.

On the international front, Amat has featured for Spain at every age group from Under-16s to Under-21s.

He was part of the squad that finished third at the U17 World Cup in 2009, with Amat playing alongside Manchester United’s David de Gea and former Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic.

Ahmed Elmohamady - Hull City (undisclosed fee, reportedly £2 million)

ahmed-elmohamady-signing-4-3116-884702_478x359.jpg

Hull City have signed Ahmed Elmohamady from Sunderland on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee (subject to a work permit).

Elmohamady is already a popular figure with Tigers fans having spent the majority of the 2012/13 season on loan at the KC Stadium, scoring three goals in 41 appearances during a memorable promotion-winning campaign.

The 25-year-old right-sided player is now looking forward to being a permanent part of the club’s future and is delighted to commit to the Tigers for the long term.

“It feels great to be here permanently, especially after what happened here last season,” said Elmohamady.

“It was a great year and I thoroughly enjoyed playing for this club. Everything about it was great – the players, the staff, the fans – and I am delighted to be here again.

“It’s going to be great to play in the Premier League again, especially with Hull City, and I am very much looking forward to the new season.

“Moving here was an easy decision to make. The fans are fantastic and it will be enjoyable to play in front of them in the Premier League.”

Elmohamady has made no secret of how much he also enjoys playing for City manager Steve Bruce, and he is delighted to be a part of his plans for the future.

“The manager was the one who brought me over from Egypt to play for Sunderland and now he has brought me here,” added Elmohamady.

“I really enjoy playing for him and I look forward to doing so again now.”

Although it has been almost two months since the dramatic final day of last season, Elmohamady has had a busy time away playing for Egypt and he will now take the opportunity to take a holiday before returning for pre-season training.

“We’ve had World Cup qualifiers with Egypt.

“I will now have a few days off before I come back for pre-season training.”

Ersn Yanal - Fenerbahce (Head Coach)

ersun_yanalda_sona_dogru13699383440_h1033000.jpg

Former Turkey coach Ersun Yanal has agreed to take charge of Fenerbahce, replacing Aykut Kocaman who resigned at the end of May, the club said on Friday.

Yanal, national team coach between 2005 and 2007, has signed a one-year deal after recently quitting another Turkish club Eskisehirspor.

His appointment coincides with tough times for the Istanbul club who have been banned from European competition for two seasons over their involvement in a domestic match-fixing scandal.

Fenerbahce, who finished second in the Turkish league last season, will miss out on next season's Champions League which they had been due to enter in the third qualifying round.
