I am very happy - after yesterday's game - which was the worst Liverpool performance ever - like ever. No matter how bad a loss we have had in the past - even the 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa was something that we all thought was weird, contrast this with yesterday afternoon - there was no effort in any of our players except young Konate who ran out of energy trying put fires out. It was both pitiful and a disgrace to the heritage of the club that, and it ain't even the players faults because they don't have anything in them left. One midfielder in 4 years ? - what cunt of a club does that ? not even the lowest of clubs functions like that.
It's time this club had the financial resources to compete at the level it deserves, make no mistake we are a fucking MASSIVE club that has been undermined by these rich up-starts all around us and I include even Man United because they are big due to their timing of success in the PL era. We deserve this.

I don't even think that's a way of looking at it, we've done well, we've won and competed more than we should have, given the money spent and players sold.
That said, moneyball has a longevity that only works under sustainable conditions, our conditions just aren't sustainable and that's where everything usually, eventually comes crashing down. Especially in such a competitive league. City have been as successful by spending big. We've just been really fortunate to have had a manager who could defy the odds.
