Yeah but I didn't take my odds just from one bookie, I posted the best price available on each team across all bookies (oddschecker.com) which I think gives a fair reflection of each team's chances. Those Sky odds look very skimpy, huge margins built in - you'd have to be crazy to take any of those prices.
Can I just ask - why you guys think that City will beat Dortmund ? - I think City are in real shit here, that defence of theirs don't have experience of dealing with someone like Haaland, it will be very interesting. I mean City just faced a team from Germany who are 10th and have lost their last 4 domestic games and won by only 2 games in each round. Usually with such opposition they would be scoring a lot more than that - and using them as shooting practice - very odd.
With regards to Chelsea - everyone is talking about their new manager but I swear his tactics stink of Jose Mourinho 'light'. Its all counter-attack bullshit and using the pace of that useless German striker. The wheels and discipline should come off shortly.

This is beautiful - on the one side we have practically all the wannabe's of European football with PSG, and City plus the leaders in three of the main leagues in Europe with a total European Cup wins of 7,
AND
on the other side you have a bunch of teams that are not league leaders but each having a European Cup to their name totalling 22.
Agree regarding Porto, I watched both their matches against Juve and I was surprised how good they were.Not just that but in the 2nd leg they went down to 10 men and had to dig out a result away from home against a much stronger team on paper. I think they will give Chelsea a real challenge.
I do think City will have too much for a naive Dormund team. City are a well oiled machine and their league position allows them to rest and rotate as required. They will be too slick for Dortmund over too legs but BD certainly have the firepower to give them a scare.
So what you're asking is why most people think that the team who are 25 points ahead of us will beat a team who are 13 points behind Leipzig who we despatched 4-0 on aggregate? Mystifying innit?

No it does not, it only has because in the last 20 years those 2 teams have hogged the best players in the world at different points. The English league even with its ban in the late 80s and 90s, still had the highest number of teams with euro titles both Euro and Uefa/cup winners cup. Dont know now, but just to highlight the mad nature of this league in England prior to Chelsea winning the CL, I think this league had the highest number of different teams that won the European Cup. We have at least 5 now. I dont think any other league can say that. Both Braca and Real only do it when they have the best players in the world playing for them. The problem those two wank teams have now, is that the price for that is now too expensive against potential risk plus its actually hard to identify these so called world class players early on and when they do show up at 25 their value is like 100M.
Actually 3 points and Atletico still have a game in hand. And Chelsea have just beaten Atletico home and away to knock them out of the CL with Barca crushed by PSG. Spanish football in not in the ascendancy. Still, there's over two weeks before the quarters start so we'll have to see what the respective form looks like then.
