Someone has already given the stats for that above dispelling the notion that there is any advantage (actually there may be for SOME teams, e.g. us at Anfield, however that definitely doesn't apply to the morgue called the Etihad)......... and the second leg away is about as bad draw as we coulda received that said....
Actually the more I contemplate it the more I quite like the fact that we are at home in the first leg now, it means that at worst we will still be in the tie when we go to City and with every chance (look at the amount of goals we score away from home, which could be very important) of turning them over. And that's assuming we don't batter them at Anfield - which is a possibility with the way City play.
