OK, I've calmed down a bit now, still catching my breath after laughing for what's seems like an hour.

Now if CAS uphold the ruling UEFA made and City are kicked out of the CL, doesn't it mean that they can focus even more on the league?

Or do you think players are going to be handing in transfer requests left and right?

In that case, get DeBruyne!

They’ll get it reduced or overturned on appeal

I still haven't finished laughing, but I agree with this,

However, there's a decent chance that UEFA will feel they have to be seen to do something, and any reduction might be to just one year, if they have to concede some ground.

Pep and all their top players will fuck off. They all want the CL even if their fans pretend not to care

I love the way it's somehow our fault or Man Utds. I think this decision has come as shock to us all. Who could have thought it could happen to a club that didn't have a pot to piss in and overnight began to spend billions on players? Oh and something to do with Heysel. I think their fans have been sniffing all that oil

Exactly why it's two years not one - wriggle room so UEFA save face

Imo they made it two years so when they halve it as usual they still end up with a ban. Every single competition ban I can remember has been halved on appeal so I reckon they're due a year out.

The appeal shit won't even be sorted till well into next season and yeah it'll get reduced, so everything at normal, Pep leaves when he was gonna anyway. The big prob they've got is a new coach coming in, all the players leaving / getting old, and having to start again without CL dough, no fans, fucked brand, and UEFA watching over them.

I don’t think players will. And of course they will concentrate on the league but we are still a better side.

I just hope the English media doesn't take the bait and somehow make City into victims here. They were the ones flagrantly violating the rules, inflating the market with their exorbitant spending, and hurting teams who did not have the luxury of being illegally financed by an entire country. It's those other teams who can be considered the victims, not City.

And on a related note, will the FA and the Premier League do something, now that the case against City has been proven? In truth, it's the EPL that was most affected and distorted by City's improper financial doping – they won fuck all in Europe anyways.

As long as any appeal doesn’t get totally overturned then they have been found guilty which hopefully means they have to be squeaky clean in the future. But it’s not the first time they’ve been done which hopefully adds to the weight of evidence against them. They think they’re above the law.

No chance of that. Everyone fucking hates them

Exactly. They've basically been cut back down to size.

City are only a threat as long as they're bankrolled. I can't see how they get round that problem, regardless of this thing being overturned.

From BlueMoon:
I’m so proud. My club. Disobeying UEFA rules. The FFR that were not made to protect the Portsmouth like clubs, but to stop City and PSG. I love it. It all ends up. The agenda is right there where it was to be expected.
So proud. We all should be.

Side note to Pep: Still not want us to booh the anthem do you?!?!

Apparently cooking the books to hide sponsorship by an autocratic regime is now considered an act of rebellion against a corrupt system. They are this close to putting Sheikh Mansour on a pedestal with Martin Luther King, Gandhi and Rosa Parks.

Surely all the titles they’ve won under Pep should be stripped.

That’s be nice to gain another league title and a league cup.

I normally wouldn’t want a league title like that but considering we are about to win it this season I’m all for it.

I read the bit about City employees making fun of the fact one of the UEFA investigation panel passing away. And to think last season fans of other clubs were praying for City to win the league to save football. The irony is monumental
