Where in the fuck do:
Nasri
Silva
Yaya
Barry
Johnson
Milner
De Jong

and

Tevez
Aguero
Bolatelli
Dzeko

All fit in?

They should give us Johnson and stop being so fucking peevish.

You'd have to think that Yaya, De Jong and Silva will play almost every game meaning one place for Nasri, Barry, Milner and Johnson to rotate in (and lets face it its gonna be Nasri more often than not)
EMBARRASMENT.RICHES.

Remember when they had Robinho....... mental.

I shudder to think what their wage bill is every month.

They've probably got Youth team members on £80,000 a week.......probably.

Hart

Richards-------Kompany--------Lescott-------Clichy

-----------------Tevez-------Dzeko---------------------

Yaya would have to fulfil the DM role that he did so well at Barca. Even with Yaya as a DM they would still ship a fair few goals as Nasri and Silva don't always track back but they would have so much firepower that conceding the odd goal shouldn't be a problem.

It will (by the looks of things) be Dzeko and Aguero more often than not.
Fuck i dunno...

that is a terrifying line up and not just because tevez is an ugly fucker.

For this lineup to have any chance of materializing, they would have to change the manager. Mancini would never play this team.

I agree with Herr Oncearead, I really cannot see where they will fit all those attackers now that they added Nasri. They have way too much strength in depth, especially in attack. Maybe we can make a cheeky bid for Adam Johnson in January.

I wanted city to get sucked into a fight for 3rd/4th place as I thought they were inconsistant last season and often very average but after watching the bolton they looked ridiculously strong. taking off a aguero to bring on tevez is just taking the piss.

De-Jong is a definite starter.

He's nowhere near as defensive as the media & last season would portray, he had a job to do last season, he did it. This season he's going for the league & as close to CL as possible, & I think they'll be up there with Utd come April, whether us & Chelsea will be there with them is questionable, but without European games we should be able to have made that advantage count by then.

----------------Hart

Richards---Kompany--Worf---Kolorav

------------Dirtycunt--Yaya

--------Nasri---Tevez/Aguero----Silva

-------------Aguero/Dzeko

Dat be a title winning team right der

There will be a centre half coming in to replace Lescott i reckon.

Could see them reverting to a 4-4-2 or something similar.

Silva-De Jong-Yaya-Nasri

Aguero-Dzeko

People like Barry and Milner will be the first to suffer. Not big enough names for City anymore.

It is a mental strong team that.... they blatantly do not even need Nasri!

They must sell Tevez surely.

I am jealous of that team and if they get it right they must win the league surely, the only reason they won't is that they actually have too fucking much quality.

Looking at that lads I cannot see for the life of me how that financial fair play thing can kick in.... their would have to be a fire sale, the wages they are paying not even Barca could afford the transfers and wages those boys are on.

Milner, Barry, De Jong and Silva are all decent players. Nothing special.

silva is a superb player.

DeJong is a proper nasty holding midfield player, probably the best ball winning midfielder in the league right now, and anybody who doesnt rate Silva is off their meds

Barry and Milner are average though

You could have many formations with different players, wouldnt be suprised if city win the league this year.

4-3-3

Hart
Richards-K.Toure-Kompany-Kolorov
Nasri-Y.Toure-Silva
Tevez-Dzeko-Aguero

or

4-4-2

Hart
Richards-Kompany-K.Toure-Kolorov
Nasri-Y.Toure-Silva
Aguero
Tevez-Dzeko

they have depth, plus quality and id much prefer them win it than the scum

Assuming that their first team is something along the lines of

----------------Hart
Richards--Kompany-K.Toure--Clichy
----Nasri----DeJong----Yaya
---Aguero--Dzeko---Silva

They could field a second team consisting of

--------------Taylor
Zabaletta--Onouha--Lescott--Kolarov
W Phillips--Milner--Barry--Johnson
----------Balotelli--Tevez

That second team would easily beat most teams in the league, they really should be expecting to win the league with a squad like that

They are favourites in my book. Said as much on Redcafe - blind biased buggers still think they are miles ahead of city. Pah !

Bloody hell! Some fuckers would argue that Lucas is the best defensive midfielder in the league. I don't get what is all the shit about De Jong...in fact i don't even fucking know that he's on the pitch playing. That fucking average.

You're obviously blind or making up stuff. I bet your next post would be this. De Jong > Fernando Redondo. The best defensive midfielder EVER. Fucking hell!

This kind of post make me angry. And tell me what is so fucking special about Silva?? ??
Glock Silva is fucking brilliant.
I cant even be bothered to discuss it. He just is.

How can someone not rate De Jong? He's brilliant at his job. He reads the game and plays in little 5 yards sprints, dash...smash...distribute. Simple but so effective.

Silva's clever and got great feet. Nothing to see here.

Anyway:-

--------------------Hart
Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy
-----------De Jong, Toure
Nasri----------Tevez-----------Silva
----------------Aguero

Man City players have made 133 touches in the opposition box so far this season, no other side has reached 100 yet.
Vinny Jones had more than that in one afternoon.

jeez, how do the people in this thread no know that Nasri plays on the left and Silva on the right, and that isn't going to change unless one of they are playing in the center.

I just wish we'd bought Silva when most on here were claiming he was too lightweight for this league and wouldn't score enough goals 😛

I think you'll find there was a LOT of people here advocating his purchase.

Citeh are going to get better. Some of their attacking play is impressive. Aguero looks like he'll be a fixture. Wouldn't surprise me if they flog Tevez but nobody can afford him.

They'll be in contenrtion on all fronts with the enviable squad depth that they have.
