masch makes a massive difference when on form.

only real moment of worry was the ballack header that carra fucked up on his zonal. someone should tell carra to imagine the ball is going to skertel, that would help him get to the ball first in future

I don't think the Ref's necessarily bias but he is undoubtedly very strict.

I don't get the Essien hate.
He's had an immense first half, and I haven't seen a replay of the 'stamp' incident but it looked like he was going for the ball, and it was telling how quickly Javier got after he realised we were in possession.

Very Italianesque game so far.
Drogba is the biggest pussy I've ever seen on a football field.
Mascher has been ok but not as good as either Lucas or Gerrard. Haven't seen Stevie turn up for a game against Chelsea like this in some time.
Riera in soft - gives the ball away. Johnston does well against Anelka.
