Carlo Ancelotti claims Chelsea have finished their business in the summer transfer window.

The Blues have made just three signings this summer, with Ross Turnbull, Daniel Sturridge and Yuri Zhirkov moving to Stamford Bridge.
They have also been linked consistently with AC Milan's Andrea Pirlo as well as Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery.

However, as Chelsea prepare for their Community Shield clash with Manchester United on Sunday, Ancelotti has confirmed there are no plans to add to the squad before the transfer window closes.

'Now we stay with the players I've got. I don't want to take other players because the squad is very competitive,' said Ancelotti.
'We don't need other players and I don't expect to make any more signings before the window shuts.'

I get the imression that the business model of outspend your opponents whilst highly financially leveraged is a bit fucking stupid when you are up against Real and City.

Even Chelsea have calmed down and they basically dont have to pay interest.

Its worrying because unlike United we dont have the big fat stadium and even they seem to be saving their cash!

Chelsea may not have to pay interest because their debt is to Abramovich himself, but the debt is about half as big again as ours, besides which Grinning Boy isn't going to wait for his money for ever. United's debt isn't as big as theirs, but again it's a sight bigger than ours and their creditors are even less likely to hang around till kingdom come. Our situation has its worrying aspects but I wouldn't swap places with either of the other two.
