4th centre back should either be one of the kids or as you say mega experienced, can come in and do a job old timer for next to nothing.
although if we bought a long term carra replacement for 6 million now rather than 20 in 2 seasons i'm happy to think long term here.
i think there's a deal yet to be made here with a player exchange or loan to offest what hull want.

But, but, BIG wages.
While I normally would like to see one of the kids step up and get worked into the team, relying on a youngster to fill a spot at the back while we're already depleted in midfield for the first month or two is suicide. Campbell wouldn't be a bad pickup with this in mind. The problem with getting someone like Turner is finding games for everyone once (if?!?!) Skrtel, Agger, and Carra are all healthy.

I am not talking about poor form, i am talking about the fans now having to talk about players that are at the bottom of bargain basement. I seen a thread yesterday talking about James Beattie. This isn't the fans fault its just a realisation that these are the only types of players we cam afford now and its very fucking sad.
