Liverpool include youngsters Eccleston, Amoo and Martin Kelly in CL squad

Rafa Benitez has included emerging youngsters Nathan Eccleston, David Amoo and Martin Kelly in Liverpool’s provisional 28-man Champions League squad sent to UEFA in midweek.
Eccleston is a striker and has long been tipped for an exciting future in the game. Amoo predominantly plays on the right wing and can also play up front.
Martin Kelly is a central defender who can also perform in either full back position. He has represented England Under-19s and came on as a substitute in the Champions League last season at PSV.
Benitez was forced to include these three youngsters in the squad due to UEFA’s quotas for home grown talent. This ruling was also behind the Spaniard’s eagerness to bring in Glen Johnson during the summer.
Swiss defender Phillip Degen has been left out of the squad, according to a report in the News of the World this morning.
