I got depressed watching that game at all the ex-Liverpool players on show. They should all be in the 'keeping our Marquee players thread'.

It was slightly depressing watching the game and wondering how on earth we'd be able to get back to that level. Mark Ogden of the Telegraph wrote a piece the other day saying us and Man Utd should take a leaf from Juventus' book - their progression has been mainly down to being very good in the transfer market.

Anyone who watched that first leg will tell you that there is absolutely zero chance of Bayern even getting close. Barca could well win over there too .. considering Bayern are going to have to come out all guns blazing it's almost inconceivable that Messi, Neymar and Suarez won't be able to get at least a goal between them .... meaning Bayern will need at least five.
