I'd love Madrid, but anyone apart from Barca and Juve is a good draw. There would be a lot of boring Klopp related faff if we draw one of the German sides, but I'd fancy us to beat either. Porto is obviously the plum draw, so put yer money on Man Utd v Porto.

For Clarification

In the draw for the round of 16, the eight group winners are seeded, and the eight group runners-up are unseeded. The seeded teams are drawn against the unseeded teams, with the seeded teams hosting the second leg. Teams from the same group or the same association cannot be drawn against each other.

Therefore we can only be drawn against : Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, FC Porto, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Juventus. The first leg will be at Anfield no matter who we face.

Considering werew missing van dijk for the first leg, can we get an easy game?

Porto are beating Man Utd if that happens.

I'd fancy our chances against any of those cunts but the loss of van dijk for the first leg is a massive blow. Only team I'd like to avoid is Juventus. Even though they lost last night i still think they are favourites to win it.

They also lost at home to the Mancs (though God only knows how, they had that many chances). City & Barca are clear favourites for me, everyone else would need a superhuman effort to overcome them but our 5th place in the bookies ranking shows how close we are. Let's hope we don't draw Barca with VvD out and Gomez just returning, I'd much rather meet them later in the competition.

Yeah, Juve is our worst draw. Barca is a bit of a party, that might fall either way. We know Juve won't be fun, just two really fucking hard games. But games we expect something from.
