I really hope some of the Man City players watched that parade, I did a lookup and it appears that 20,000 people turned up for their one after the treble win. I am personally (@Woland , @Squiggles ) in absolute awe of those parade pictures, stunning and if I was a player on that bus, I would never want to leave the club. Just unreal and emotional.
Blue Moon is funny..

Trying to play down 750,000 fans turning up, as less than100,000..

Insisting the population of Liverpool is only 500,000k +

Dickheads fail to realise in fact a good proportion of those fans came from literally everywhere just to be there..

Though they are probably used to the Emptihad week in week out so probably explains their reasoning

West Ham have put out a cheeky thank you to Liverpool on twitter, they really fucking hate Spurs so much its funny. My mate work who is die hard West Ham type was pissing himself laughing, anything to keep those upstarts in check.

Ha ha ha
If you Google “Manchester City Victory Parade” guess what the “Top Stories” are.....

Mega Lolz

Metropolitan area of Liverpool is 2.2m. We're a massive global club unlike them. They can't even fill their stadium while having the best side in their entire history playing there. The route was 8.5 miles long. There were loads there from outside Liverpool. Citys route was just over half a mile

The queue to get into lime St afterwards took almost two hours to clear by all accounts.

The queue for Moorfields was half way down Dale St.

The strand was so full that after the bus went past it took us 40 minutes to get off.

I have honestly never seen town so full of people. You struggled to move most of the time.

It was truly epic.

I have no voice left thanks to constant singing.

I noticed a load of articles running with the police's estimate of 750,000+, whereas one was going with Joe Anderson's of 250,000. Bitter, eh?

My mum and dad were by the five ways and there must have been 5000 around that roundabout alone. It started on Allerton road and by the time it’s done half a mile to Childwall there were 20000 people out.

Fuck them all, they just don’t get it. Or don’t want to.

Not sure it's a good idea changing the "We've been to PSG and Napoli, Belgrade and Germany" song to finish up, "Porto Barcelona who the fuck you're trying to kid? Cuz we're the mighty Liverpool and we just slaughtered the Yids" In my office ...
Still signing it mind you and the Gooner fans are laughing (Manc fan is a bit down - poor sod)

They estimate that there were about 750 000 fans for the parade yesterday.
Its insane.

Not sure how true it is but I read that the final was the first time that the exact starting eleven started a game for Liverpool.

Literally just mentioned this in the other thread re next season, it didn't feel like it was right to me but there certainly has been chopping and changing in the middle.

We got offered a spec in a rooftop bar overlooking the strand.

Bottle service only. £9 a beer, or bottles of prosecco or champagne for fuck knows how much. Stayed in the Slaughterhouse for obvious reasons.

The Monday after 2018 final we announced the purchase of Fabinho, so far no news today.
