As was his second against Barca. When on form, it's clear he knows where the goal is and can finish superbly.

Like I said before, Klopp deserves huge credit for this - he was the only coach who have managed to coax a sustained run of good form from Origi - and did it twice, before his injury and loan spell and after. Any manager can look good coaching well-rounded world-class players; making effective use of flawed or “difficult” talents is what separates the best from the rest.

Other than Mane's blast at the defenders arm, this was the only bit of clinical play all night from either side. Brilliant finish.

They are a shit club with absurd amounts of money and their celebrations ring as hollow as their victories. Don't try to frame it more fairly than that, because it's just not true.[/QUOTE]

this. all of this.

I really love how the whole world is going absolutely nuts celebrating but Trent Alexander-Arnold sprints into goal, grabs the ball, and belts it out of the Wanda Metropolitano.....
He learnt that trick from Virgil the previous time we played Spurs. Meanwhile, I don't know who Virgil copied his celebration from ... maybe a sack of spuds?

His conversion rate in all competitions was 41.1%

Our next best was Mane, with 21.8%.

That's fucking phenomenonal.

I've had a quick look, but have failed to find that stat for other players, I think it's one of those stats us plebs can't get hold of easily, & needs a myscout sub or similar to find.

Well he had that 100% conversion rate in the champions league for a couple of games I think, 1 shot 1 goal.

I really hope he wants to stay, behind a top quality forward who can play any of the three positions he is a great option to have. Whether that's enough for him at his age is the question.

The guy has to sign a new contract!
He's 24 years old, we have to get something in return.
