I don't know if it's an age thing, because a few years ago I could give less than a fuck for cookery shows, but they are now probably one of my favourite things to watch. I like them all to be honest but...
Ramsay annoys me with his cunty attitude (he made me cringe several times last night on his Indian adventure) Heston Blumenthal is a bit braggadocio and poncy.
My favourites are Oliver boy and hugh fearnley whittingstal the thing that sets them apart for me is that they don't seem to be overly trying to impress. What I mean is with Ramsay, blumenthal etc it's always 'taste this amazing food I made, isn't it amazing, go on eat it, I bet it's the best you've ever eaten' whereas the other two just want to make amazing food, and teach you how to make amazing food, they clearly love it and they eat it themselves and are constantly amazed by what they make. I think that's really great, to still be blown away by your passion after years and years.
Anyway I'm a Jamie Oliver fanboy and Hugh is boss too.
Anyone else like these shows? Have a favourite?
