anyone pick this up form carra's recent interview ?

am I reading into it too much.. or can you see, like me what he is trying to say..

"We know Fernando is not quite 100 per cent. If Fernando had got injured at the end, we would have had virtually nobody for the game in midweek but we still brought a Dutch international in Ryan Babel on. It should be enough quality."

Rafael can take him to Lyon but not sure that he'll play him. Even if he does, he'll play him at left wing.

Such a shame I had great hope in babel oh well time to fuck him off I guess I think your right it was a dig from carra he was also sticking up for rafa to I think

Did you just add something to Carras saying, as you wish he had said so, and afterwards you translated it in to what you wish you were reading in between the lines?

Carra should shut it and start delivering. We have been piss poor defensively lately, and the goals against are like taken out of a freak show. Carra is really talking a lot lately. Starting to remind about J A Riise, who never stopped going on about how fucking brilliant we were, and how we should pocket the title.... The worst thing I know besides stars playing shit, is to hear them try to talk themselves good.

You really shouldn't read too much into anything printed in the press Insignificance. It'll either have been made up by a journo or the inscrupulous hack will have caught Carragher off-guard as he tried to find a quid for the parking meter.

Thats hopefully true for Carra... For Riise however, he even bought a ferrari to chase down the journos with!!!

I think it came from a post game 5 minute interview in the BBC. I could be wrong but I did hear the comment. But I'm not reading that much into it. Its on their site somewhere, I'll try and linky it.

EDIT: this might be it...

Carragher wants ref to review red card

Oh DEFFO should be discounted then.

Didn't get that from the clip embedded there, Jonno - I thought that he was saying in defense of Raf's decision to take off Torres, when asked if the boss had prioritized Wednesday's match.
