You are all wilfully misunderstanding this. Dreamy means Bayern would be a better team than the England team if Can signed for them. It might be counter-argued they don't need Can to fulfil such a claim.

They can probably play there.... Africa is mostly UK colonies anyway? Should qualify through the afternoon tea process which is well incorporated in Afcon.
From my time in Nigeria we actually had a map showing which countries were previously colonies of which country, off the top of my head (this is going to be close but not perfect) : UK 28, France 26 and then 1 or 2 each for the likes of Portugal, Germany and Italy. There has been some consolidation, boundary changes, country name changes and of course the exact number would depend on the period of history under discussion.

I knew a really boring bloke once who realised that the only way to keep people listening to him was to insist on telling you any anecdote or piece of information in strict chronological order, so you'd have to wait until he got to the relevant bit at the end. For example, he wouldn't say 'I saw a bus today that I thought was going to crash but it didn't and nothing happened,' he'd say, 'I went out at about 9...no, I think it was 9.05...I was wearing a new pair of shoes...well, they were a month old but I'd only just scratched the soles to prevent slipping...' and about half an hour later of leg-jumpingly irrelevant detail you'd discover the lack of point of the story.
I reckon Can is like that.
Rather than just get one evanescent headline - 'Greasy-haired inconsistent midfielder decides to leave,' he wants to seem much, much more interesting than that, so we get months and months of him coyly coming out with these 'I have no idea/life is unpredictable/who knows what the future will bring' crap. Get the boring fecker in an arm-lock, buzz-cut his barnet, shake him until he actually says what the hell he's going to do and then flush his head down the bog. Sorted.
