Why go to PSG? Money, and they'll splash it if they want him badly enough. He's not someone who looks only at money, but now that he's definitely decided he wants "a new challenge" it's going to have an effect on his choice of destination.
We'll have to play hard ball.. cos why the heck would Mane wana go PSG?
Pointless club, he'll push for Bayern who'll hold out for the lower offer
money, mbappe tapping up & playing with that ex-everton senegalese dm (gaya?)
Why go anywhere else other than Liverpool if he wants trophies/prestige? Neither PSG nor Bayern really offer that (notwithstanding the domestic league titles, which basically mean nothing in Germany and France these days). I think this is a largely money-oriented move from Mane, so I wouldn't rule PSG out so easily. We'll have to play hard ball.. cos why the heck would Mane wana go PSG?

Apparently Bayern have offered him a salary of 20 million euros a year. That's about 350k a week (in GBP).

How about a fresh challenge? a new culture? It's not always money-orientated. Mane has never shown that in his character. Why go anywhere else other than Liverpool if he wants trophies/prestige? Perhaps you're right. I don't see much of a 'challenge' at Bayern or PSG, but it may be that he wants a change of surroundings and lifestyle. In terms of the assumption that this is about money - I certainly didn't mean it as a slight on his character. It's just that this is the last major crossroads of his career, and he may be thinking about a retirement nest egg. And even if he isn't, his agent will certainly be looking to cash in.How about a fresh challenge? a new culture? It's not always money-orientated. Mane has never shown that in his character.
Nice big fat pay check. Why else does anyone want to go to psgWe'll have to play hard ball.. cos why the heck would Mane wana go PSG?

[article]Italian legend Christian Vieri has urged Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to sign Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
The Reds may be on the lookout for a new forward, as Sadio Mane is rumoured to desire a move to Bayern Munich.
With a year left on his contract, Liverpool may decide to cash in on Mane, while Mohamed Salah's future is also up in the air.
Vieiri, who was a superstar forward in Serie A for several clubs in his playing days, urged the Reds to secure Osimhen as a Mane replacement.
"If I were Liverpool, I would go and take Osimhen from Napoli," said Vieira on Twitch channel BoboTV.
"Everyone runs in Klopp's squad, they go a thousand miles an hour. He would be perfect."[/article]
Guaranteed the title whichever team he goes to. Both will be amongst the top 5/6 CL favourites. Maybe it will come down to which players he'd prefer to play alongside - or whether he will be guaranteed a starting slot (not so at PSG). PSG will obviously pay a lot more and possibly give a longer contract. We'll have to play hard ball.. cos why the heck would Mane wana go PSG?

Bayern are perennial CL challengers though the loss of Lewandowski is as big a blow to them as losing Salah would be to us.Why go anywhere else other than Liverpool if he wants trophies/prestige? I'm pretty upset to see that comment. Everyone has a right to do what they want with their lives so long as it doesn't negatively affect the lives of others. He's as entitled as you are to switch companies. He wasn't my favourite player but I will absolutely support his right to a move (esp. after giving us 6 wonderful seasons) even though I wish he was staying........ Im so disappointed at his big news crap though. Lost a lot of respect for him.
Tbf would have no issue with him leaving but to come out with that bullshit before the champions league final was wrong. This isn't about what Henry and the boys at fsg would do, this about basically showing us Liverpool fans a massive lack of respect because if that comment was aimed as a teaser to munich fans then he basically rubbing it in our faces.I'm pretty upset to see that comment. Lose respect for him? That's utter BS. A person earns respect in far more ways than extended 'loyalty' to a club. The club would ditch him in an instant if they thought he was no longer right for them.
So we the fans don't deserve anything from him despite the fact that he gets worshipped every game. Totally respect his desire to want to play somewhere new, even if it's about money Im still grand with that but why make those comments before a champions. League finalMane was paid less than Oxlade Chamberlain for his entire contract, and didn't publicly whine once.
I think he's entitled to some excitement over his next move. Also, he did come the closest to scoring against Real, comments aside.
Contrast him to Salah or Lewandowski. He's been a fucking saint* in the way he's conducted himself.
*no relation to his former club
as much as I love him, he’s our third best attackerOver 20 goal contributions in the league on average.
That's a big loss.
I hope they get Salah signed onto a new contract.
It's a big ask to replace your two best attackers in a short period of time.
I reckon it's the first of those alternatives coupled with the fact that, though his English has obviously come on a ton, it still isn't his first language.
