@Mystic You seem to have done well getting through the queue. Did you just go direct to the link you posted earlier today and then keep refreshing close to 8.15?

Nothing that complicated to be honest, I had three browsers open from 7:50am (1 Chrome, 1 IE, 1 Firefox) and just as I was about to refresh one, it automatically put me in the queue on all three browsers, Chrome put me in with a six minute wait, the other two with a ten minute wait. For future tickets I think what i'll do it open three browsers again, but leave two to do their own thing and only refresh one at 8:14am until in the queue.

I had 2 browsers open from about 740am (Chrome and Firefox) and it put in the queue for both with 'over an hour'. It really does seem completely random.

Unfortunately it does seem to be pretty random all right with luck playing a big role on when you get in.
I was buying tickets in the sale yesterday and had multiple devices and windows open since just after seven.
The one that got me in quickest was one I had refreshed coming up to 8.15 which gave me a five minute wait time.
All the others that opened themselves had a wait time varying from twenty minutes to over one hour and the time that they joined the pre queue didn't really seem to matter.
Well done lads on getting tickets.
Being quite the veteran of these things and knowing what a jungle they are I can honestly say you did very well.

I'd subscribe to the complete randomness too. Was in the sort of pre queue from around 7:30 on phone and iPad and then when it hit 8:15 one had 45 mins wait the other 60+.

If I can avoid the school run next time tickets go on sale I'll try @Mystic 's plan with my laptop

I also wonder if the ISP has anything to do with it, I always buy tickets at work, and we have a very fast business line in the centre of London, the request to join the queue might hit me a few seconds earlier as a result, which makes all the difference with this dreadful system LFC implement.

That's a good shout; will try and be in the office next time rather than at home with my shite broadband speeds!

Got two Burnley in the end, not my preference but happy to get them......almost two hour wait! One happy 14-y-old in the house this evening anyway.

Does anyone know why the Burnley match is down for 4pm Sunday? Also when do Sky/BT pick their next lot of matches?

Edit: I see Everton are at home on the Saturday, still I'll need to wait for TV changes just in case they put us to Monday (which is doubtful)

So if I wanted to try and get 2 tickets together for the Wesh Ham game (general sale on 28th Nov) - i will need to have 2 fan cards and it will let me do so? Seems pretty antiquated system. Frustratingly so.

Two membership cards .
Fan cards were issued after a once off payment and had no expiry date.
Membership cards last for just one season and cost £26 every year to buy.
Fan cards rarely give you any privileges when it comes to buying these days

@Gary25
Did you say you had cards with 3 credits on them? If so, could I use them for Chelsea game tomorrow if they aren't in use?
Thanks.

Fuck sake, why do they even bother scheduling league and cup games at the same time, moving games just pisses everyone off
Yeah, unfortunately that was all that was left for me....maybe it'll be changed to towards end of the season for the possible title run in.

Don't you find if trying to buy tickets when in the office you have an extra layer to go through and that tends to make it harder to hit the site and get into the queue? I have found that to be the case a couple of times and if I just open browser on phone I can get straight into the queue.

Depends on the individual work firewalls and other stuff I suppose.....our server is in Spain for instance as I work for a Spanish company in Ireland.
