Burnley Vs Man City (Sunday)

Don't matter when City constantly get away with cynical fouls yellow card free.

Its quite insane and bizzarre that they get away with it. Should have been about 2-3 minutes extra in injury time and 5-6 yellow cards, but the ref didnt seem to care. Sterling should have been windmilled a few times.

I think I’m right in saying that in City’s last 3 games (2 away from home) they’ve faced 2 shots on target.
Leicester and Brighton will need to be clinical then hold out against wave after wave of attacks.
I give us 20% chance now.

I'd argue it's lower, probably less than 10%. Regardless though, it's a chance, which we'd have all jumped at before the season started, you know, what with citeh having their 25 point head start.

This failed clearance is haunting my dreams. He could literally chest it to the keeper, knee it. Anything! Even though we all know that if they didn't score that, they would have keep up the intensity for another 25 mins, it just felt so stoppable. I don't think Leicester will turn up at the Emptyhad but we just need to keep making winning a habit ahead of our 104 point season next year.

[article]When was the last time Manchester Cityfinished a Premier League match with four centre-halves on the pitch? Pep Guardiola, who admitted he had been “trembling”, said he would have brought on another one if he had not already used all his substitutes and Sean Dyche said, with some pride, that he could tell the City manager was anxious. “I saw Pep Guardiola with my own eyes – and I heard it too – screaming, ‘Get it in the corner.’ That’s some compliment.” It was certainly not a stress-free afternoon at Turf Moor for the league leaders and reigning champions but 12 league wins in a row suggest City can handle the pressure. If they can make it 14, it will guarantee the championship trophy staying in Manchester and there are no signs that they will not be able to cope now the heat of the battle is close to intolerable. [/article]

Over the weekend we had a nice stress free game. It wasn’t the same for them. As the stakes get higher the pressure increases and strange things can happen.

The first half they were really nervous. The first half an hour they almost had that two banks of four FFS! They looked like a mid table side coming to Anfield & hoping they didn't concede.

He always looks nervous on the bench, but Guardiola was a fucking nervous wreck.

The positive for us is that most likely both teams City face will have something to play for. Brighton could need a result in the last game to avoid relegation.

Worst thing is if Leicester get a result Wolves will need a result against us

Yeah, sorry. Didn't really mean "I told you City would win the league", I just meant if you don't want your hopes ruined, don't build them up and complain when they are dashed. Small difference, but yeah, you're right.

Hal, we aren't kids believing in Santa here. We can mathematically win the league and there is two games left so of course we can still hope. I don't think City will drop points but I still hope they do. The same stance I had last Feb when I replied to your post targeting those getting their hopes up. - http://www.sixcrazyminutes.com/thre...mes-9-11-february.134048/page-11#post-1797225

You pragmatic approach to Liverpool is so extreme that it seems to nullify any potential joy out of supporting a team.

Has dreamy left it to right till the end of the season to get the most dreamiest post of the season?

So competitive!!

Whenever a Banksy appears, Dreamy always feels the need to create a Dreamy a few days later.

People going about their normal day just stop and stare. Wondering if it’s real.
