Salah's trying to recreate a magic season when even his shit turned to gold, but it's just going to happen for him like that again. He's not a 40 goal a year player. He doesn't possess the freakish ability of Ronaldo or Messi to score. He needs to relax, accept himself for the player he is and aim to get 25 goals and 10/15 assists. Everyone would be much better for it.

Salah has been selfish for ages and doesn't often pass when in those kinda positions so there's nothing new there.

I wonder if it has been discussed as a point this season that between the three of them they should be looking to pass more to each other.. well the two of em cos Bobby does so already.

Sensational start to the season and continued last seasons amazing form.
A (small) European trophy to put us back in the global limelight while beating another English side, 4 wins from 4 including a tricky away game and a home game against a top 6 side. City have dropped two points giving us a slight edge of not feeling like they are invincible and now we have 2 weeks to sort out any issues and get Becker back.
All in all a perfect start.

Thanks @YNWA . Your tip was golden. Etihad did indeed have the match live (in business on a 15" HD screen, with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, a cheese plate and the massager tickling my lower lumbar)! Awesome.
I watched the match and the next hour or so of post match and goals /incidents from all the other PL matches. Now I have to fly long haul for every match - it's going to cost me a bloody fortune!! Many thanks again - I would have missed it without your input.
Currently it's HT in my journey, posting from Abu Dhabi (and so nice to have fast internet and not have to use a VPN)!!

Very pleased that you were able to catch the match and watch us win comfortably. The flight does sound amazing especially the massager. I need to ask Emirates why don't they have the same in their long haul flights.
Have I missed something ? How can you guys afford to fly business class (long haul) but can't afford a sports package?

I thought he was pointing to the pitch asking why he was being subbed when it should really have been Salah, after his two incidents of greedy play.
Frustrations in football are fine, he was right, but his reaction was wrong. It happens.

I could live with it mate but there's a lot on this site that really struggle with algebra and trigonometry is pretty much a no go.
The clip stops at his initial reaction - but it clearly bothered him because for the next 20 seconds or so he seemed to force himself to stay in the interview, because he looked really gutted. Just shows how much he wants his players to get the credit for something good that they are involved in.
Once the interviewer told him there was a deflection he seemed to accept it.
No he was very complimentary basically saying the biggest difference between the teams and Liverpool in general over the rest of the league is how deadly we are in transition. We either score from a turnover or create a really good chance almost all the time. He seperates us and City from everyone else.
