Yeah, this is it.

I mean, experienced defenders do exactly the same for us. So what gives? It's probably a combination of shit players and poor defensive coaching. At least if we get someone like VVD in there, we can only hope that will be of benefit to younger players like Gomez. Potentially they could play together sooner rather than later as the preferred partnership.

His position was in all honesty OK. The problem for me was his awareness. He had his back to their player and wasnt marking anyone it seems. So imo that's completely on him.
