Sorry PR dept!
Stupid predictive text!
They've been (rightly) maligned, but the handling of the Suarez affair, including releasing information through various sources, & constant media presence nationally without acting like cunts to do it, show a new level of, dare I say, professionalism, that role hasn't seen at our club before.
Whilst I hate the modernisation of the game & the media role in it, I hate more the fact the Liverpool have been flirting with playing the media but almost every time have ended up looking like cunts cos they were shit at it.
At least this feels like we're doing it on our terms & are getting something our of the bargain.
It's also gotten us a lot of favour, which in today's game helps on the pitch indirectly, cos a lot of the outlets that normally stick the boot in have been unable to. That ridiculous Sturridge article is the closest thing to a hatchet job lately, before that it was the rodgers affair, neither of which have gained traction in the media as a whole, in the past they would have been used to take the attention of the performances & distract the team as much as possible. The fact Rodgers is so pr friendly must play a big part in nullifying that type of thing.
