"Borderline xenophobic"

That Samuel article is one of the worst I've ever read. Haaland was a bargain. There are rules in place for FFP. Where are the evidence? Klopp is wrong. Its the Arab owners against the rest. Jeessuss fucking Christ thats so badly written he shouldnt be allowed to call himself a journalist.

City are under investigation by the Premier league, the CAS case was overruled because of the time limit if I remember correctly and Haaland earns about 900k a week.

If City are innocent and have nothing to hide why are they then spending millions on attorneys with the only goal of obstructing any investigation. Its mind blowingly stupid.

This is a shameful attempt by City to try and cast themselves as the victims, it's transparent and pathetic.

I will say this though, the rivalry with City is very close to getting out if hand now. Their incendiary chants/grafitti and our side attacking their bases. The clubs need to take a step back and defuse this or someone is going to get badly hurt.
This 100%

I agree. The Samuel piece is borderline dangerous. Borderline corrupt itself.

I really hope someone with a bit more neutral and nuanced view will write a piece and pick that article a part.
Agreed, its borderline corrupt.

Didn’t Martin Samuel used to be a mouth piece for Chelsea during early Roman days? At least unofficially.

Reported today that we are considering taking legal action against City for their comments about Klopp.
Doubt it would be possible. Manchester media reported on ‘a source’ from that club saying it. It was very sly, but there’s not really anything LFC can do about it.

If this 8x bet doesn't get investigated then nothing will. Once case overruled the UEFA ban the premier league buried their investigation

Nothing borderline about it. Couldn't have a more city article if it was written by city themselves. The only thing Samuels didn't call klopp was xenophobic

Kickstarter if I ever saw one, pathetic from city and those involved in trying to get this one going.

While at it, someone should look into Martin Samuel’s accounts.

FA issue telling response to Klopp comments that spawned ludicrous xenophobia claims

Jurgen Klopp will not be investigated by the FA for the comments he made about Manchester City, Newcastle and PSG recently.
The German tactician spoke about the financial strength of the three sides and explained how it means that ‘they can do what they want financially’ in comments which later resulted in the Etihad outfit accusing the Reds boss of being ‘borderline xenophobic’ – much to the bemusement of the 55-year-old who has since sought legal action to rubbish the accusations

According to BBC Sport, the FA are finding it difficult to prove City’s claims.

The Liverpool boss didn’t mention race, ethnicity, nationality or culture and spoke only about the financial strength of the three clubs and nothing more.
It was nothing short of bemusing when City’s accusations of xenophobia were first heard and it appears that it was a clear attempt to divert attention from the reality of the poor human rights record and sportswashing tactics of The City Group.
