People saying that it's going to be called off already.

For fuck sake. When is the Fulham game gonna be replayed?

Am I right in thinking that when a game was cancelled at Christmas either last year or year before, it didn't get replayed until 2nd last game of the season?

if it's called off for the pitch (rather than health and safety around the ground) we should be awarded the points. They've just been given £70m and can't sort their pitch (or stadium) out. Toy town operation.

They are saying their pitch is fine. Undersoil heating and all that shit.

Then why the fuck is everyone else's pitches okay? Is their a few cunts underneath it with hairdryers?

Blackpool had to call off their match against United and it seems much worse now.

I can't see this game going ahead, not for one second.

I thought Blackpool didn't have undersoil heating, and that that was the problem. No?

"We can almost certainly guarantee the pitch will be playable but it is the prevailing conditions once the covers have been removed and whether the pitch will freeze before the end of the game taking place," chairman Karl Oyston told Sky Sports News."

Well don't remove the covers till 2.50pm you cunt.

Blackpool are the only prem club that don't have undersoil heating. They are talking about installing it at the end of the season. They called of the game against utd because of a frozen pitch.

I played a game on a frozen pitch yesterday. It was fucking ridiculous - like playing on a skating rink. That was at 10am though. By midday it would have been fine.

There's gonna be a big mess to sort out if many more games are postponed, not least in the Predictions League.

That's another thing Fulham don't have that I wish they did.

Fulham installed it at the beginning of this season.

The palyers should do their warm-ups in the changing rooms then yeah?

The more games postponed the better. It gives Gerrard a chance to recover from injury, and the longer we don't have a game, the longer we go without a defeat.

I'd be in complete agreement, but it's Christmas and I am going to have lots of time to just relax, be drunk, and watch football, and this will be disappointing.

I wonder if Roy will listen to the advice this time? Or just say "My teams don't do that" again?

if the advice is "we should probably win this away game Roy", then probably..

Agger's back?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

We'll win the title now I'm sure of it.

Blackpool will be without captain Charlie Adam when they host Liverpool in the Barclays Premier League on Boxing Day.

Adam picked up his fifth booking of the season on December 11 at Stoke and is yet to serve the resulting one-match suspension as the scheduled game against Tottenham last weekend was postponed.

Increases our chances of avoiding a league double (defeat) vs. Blackpool then? 😛

Probably a good chance he won't serve the suspension against Liverpool either, if the pitch ain't up to scratch due to the bad weather.

I fell asleep earlier and in my dream the Blackpool match was cancelled. Mind you, DJ Pube Fists was warming up for The Ayatollah Jacksons at the nimrod plaza so it probably means nowt.

FOLLOWING an early morning pitch inspection, the Seasiders Boxing Day fixture with Liverpool has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The fixture will now take place at Bloomfield Road on Wednesday 12th January, kick off 8pm.
