It's what people have been saying for the last 3 years ... He scores good goals, or winners, and he's dropped the next game ... But obviously that's how it should be as per all the Babel bashers - he should be able to show great form every game despite knowing no matter how well he performs the chances of starting 2 games in a row are slim at best.

Hes been out of favour all season it would seem so whilst a couple bad games might provide a reasonable explanation now, it doesnt really tell the whole story, does it?

If this unconvincing run of wins and industrious displays saves Rafa's job; next season will be all the same. A sky-dive to where your original goal is impossible and then slowly hard work your way back to touching distance of acceptable.
