Bite, Nibble, Munch and Chomp

[article]The Telegraph, following a report first written in Kosovo’s daily Sport Plus, are reporting how Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has an offer on the table to play football during his four month FIFA ban.

Kosovo are get to gain full membership to FIFA, and in light of that fact Superleague side Hajvalia have made a cheeky offer to sign the Uruguayan superstar on loan.

Hajvalia, who came 6th last season, are willing to offer Liverpool €30,000 to loan Suarez, while the striker himself is being offering a pay-packet of £1200 a week.

Hajvalia director Xhavit Pacolli told Sport Plus:

Suarez can’t play in the next four months.

As we are not part of FIFA yet, I think he can play in Kosovo, so we have an offer that we will send to Liverpool.

This is the maximum we can offer. We offered €30,000 and a salary of €1500 for each month.

This might sound ridiculous to him, but that is all we can do. If he is willing to come and play for us, he is welcome. As we are not part of Fifa, it would be ideal for him.[/article]

We'd make more money putting him in a glass box in manchester and charging the public a pound to spit or throw an egg at him.

Heh, nice.

I wish presidents everywhere used that kind of language. I'd take more of an interest in politics.

isn't this the president with the cool back story and is a farmer that refuses to live in luxury or take a proper wage for the job

Don't know about him being a farmer but yeah reading about him the other day suggested he's big on living within your means and sustainability.

Isn't that pretty standard for left wing politicians?

They don't tend to include their expenses in that wage of course.

Spain used to have a flat rate system for foreign nationals who went to work there (in order to attract high earners). I don't think it is as generous these days as it was before, but I still suspect Suarez would end up paying less tax there than he would have to here, so a pay cut might not be a huge concern.

He can't have much to do if he can take the time out to try to shoot the messenger. No acknowledgement, no remorse, no sanction on it's own player, nothing.

Is that the way to handle it?

All Suarez will need if he gets to Spain is Messi's firm of accountants, that way you can evade tax for ages and then plead innocence and pay a taken fine. 'No hay problema'.

So Barca are offering him less money a week than he already gets? Hows' that going to work?

He will probably more than make that up with sponsorships and endorsements. Looking at the Forbes list, the top three earners were at Barca and Real Madrid each with huge sponsorship deals

Any smart bastard out there know if we have any grounds for appeal? I can't believe FSG will take this lying down, unless selling is the preferred option now.

Yeah, read that Barca wanted an apology before anything could happen. Great timing...

He's gone.

He seems to be still trying to make out it was accidental. Then says it won't happen again ever. The daft twat.
