Jesus, ok I'd guess around 10-20% of the crowd are homophobic, happy now? So where are all the rest, given all the institutional racism, sexism, ageism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia that we all know occurs on a daily basis? Where are they? They're on social media virtue signalling about it. None of them will take on an employer, enforce the law, or even give a witness statement to help the victim. One question, why has not one single football player made a complaint? Blown the whistle? Released video evidence? Made a witness statement? Informed the police? Gone to court? Why not? (1) You remain confused. The chant is not homophobic. That some people chanting it are homophobic themselves does not change the chant. That is why the 20% is irrelevant.

Those four things were the number of whistleblowers who disclosed evidence to the commission that was of sufficient weight for them to actually investigate before dismissing it. 46 people are the total number of disclosures to the commission. It is far far harder to make a complaint and get your employer to investigate and gather evidence, or to hack into emails and gather it illegally, or to go to court. Far harder. So if only 46 people did the relatively easy thing in that period, far less will have done the hard thing.
