I just listened to what he said now - and it basically seems like he's saying that people who don't have children aren't as capable (?) of making decisions for the better of the future of the country because they don't have an investment in her future?
I mean I get what he's trying to say (the logic behind it), but I think if you're in politics for the right reasons, you do things based on what you think is in your country's best interest, regardless if you have children or not. Would Harris suddenly be 'ok' in his point of view if she adopted a child or two? Would her decision making change at all? Not her biggest fan but I think the answer is rather obvious.
I think Yanks will vote for Trump in the same way as we did for Labour in UK, not because we want them but simply because they're not the other one.

What I don't really understand is how the "Grand Old" Party has got so far down the Trump road. Obviously they've had some right nasty buggers in the past (Nixon!) but he seems to have burrowed deep inside and changed them for good. Just was googling and it seems Carlson pushed the JD Vance pick for Trump ... because otherwise, the "Deep State" may assassinate him ... that's from vanity fair ... I just read the headline but I really cannot tell if it's satire or not.
The selection of Vance had an odd look about it from the get-go. Some years ago he was calling Trump out in much the same terms as Trump's critics still use today. I confidently expect the Democrats' attack ads to feature some of Vance's quotes from that time.
