I knew shit was going to happen even before he opened his mouth. He invited tens of thousands of people. He instructed them to protest against the certification. The certification was a formality. It's very clear when you have that many people, and then disappoint them, that the reaction of 10, 15, 20, 25% of them will be anger, and yoda fills in the rest. But, that does not constitute inciting violence. His role in the violence was inviting the people there. Nothing wrong with that. And it was with contesting the election, again nothing wrong with that. Just because they were steps that had to occur for the violence to happen, does not constitute a crime! The supreme court rejecting the case was also a massive step in that violence. By the exact same standard you're applying, they should be arrested and charged too.
